I'm another one who is holding out for the album release, in 9 days.  I don't listen to or pay attention to leaks, for a lot of reasons.   But, the countdown is on!!

Same here, I'm waiting until July 3rd to hear the album. Although the leaks are tempting as hell! I think I can restrain myself for 9 more days ?

I know but I have heard the GNR stuff and I listened to most of BJ's new album on VH1 and this time I am just determined to wait.

As much As I love SBQM & Just 16 & all the live versions of the new songs, I've got to admit, that I was pretty worried that album would not be on par with Contraband.

But I'm listening to Libertad Now for the first time and Man was I worried about nothing. This Album Fucking Rocks!!! On So many Different levels All the different sounds & Tunes are Sooo Cool.

I finnally understand what Slash & the rest were saying about how Libertad is on such a different Level than Contraband

I think I'd just burn a copy for the car...or take the other with me, since I can't be using it at home and in the car, at the same time, but to each his own, I suppose!

I downloaded Gravedancer just now.....not a bad tune....could definitely be a grower.  I like the bonus song too...nice little changeup to the usual stuff.  Still not feeling She Builds Quick Machines though.  I'm going to go for Just 16 next.

American Man ROCKS. The ELO cover is average, but Slash's solo is simply BRILLIANT, EPIC, one of his best solos after quitting GNR, head to head with YGNR's.

SBQM and For A Brother are the two worst things I've ever heard from Slash/Weiland. The two worst VR songs by far.

* 2 great songs (American Man, ''Dont Drop That Dime'')
* 3 ''good'' songs (Get Out The Door, Cant Get Out Of My Mind, Let It Roll [this last one is much better in the album, it sucks live)
* 7 mediocre songs (She Mine, The last Fight, Mary Mary, Just 16, Pills, Demons & etc., Spay and Gravedancer)
* 2 HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING songs (She Builds Quick Machines, For A Brother)

I enjoyed almost everyone of your mediocre songs, save just 16 and Spay. I didn't get American Man; didn't do anything for me.
