What was that show that starred Erik Ericson? He accidentally shot himself.....was handed a prop gun that was loaded or something.......had to do with time travel....

That was Voyagers...he and the curly-haired kid traveled through time making sure everything went according to plan...Phinnaeus Bogg?  I think that was his name on the show.  I can't remember the kid's name.  I watched the show...loved it.   peace

Dance Fever was one of those shows I remember from the distant past.  Was that the '70's?  Danny or Denny Terio was the host.

btw, I randomly turned on a Who's the Boss re-run last night and lo and behold, it was the episode where Tony saw Angela naked!!!  Oh man it was great....and by the way, who the hell can deny the fact that the little kid on that show was gay already?  That still cracks me up.  Not that homosexuality is funny, it's just that he was so effeminate from an early age.

Anyhow, funny show.  Smiley

Ah yes, the David Crosby show, Melissa Etheridge played his wife, remember?

It was in the early 80's, I remember watching it when I was about 12-13 yrs old. Danny Terrio later sued Merv Griffin for what he deemed was unwanted homosexual advances.

Night Court was the shit.

I liked the three blonde chicks, there was one for season one, another for season two, and then the one for 3-8, or how many season it was.

OUT OF THIS WORLD. The girls name was Evie and she could pause time by putting her fingers together. Her father was an alien and she could talk to him through a crystal. If she stopped time and then touched someone that person would be able to move around like she could while the rest of the world was still.

Oh shit! I remember that! Haven't thought about that in AGES!!!

And yes, Small Wonder was really bad.

Yup, Jo Polnicek on the Facts of Life.  Now she does Lifetime movies.  She was the cutest of a pretty homely bunch on that show...well, except for that hottie Edna Garrett.  hihi

Yes Nixon, Night Court was hilarious.  I think they went through even more bailiffs.  The rough-talking smokers kept dying.  And yes, I liked Markie Post as well, the blonde lawyer.  She was in There's Something about Mary.  She held up well all those years...and my god, I've never been a big breast man, but damn she had a large rack.   Grin

the wonder years.

probably my all-time favorite show. not sure why it hasn't been released on dvd - maybe they are waiting for the 20 year anniversary in 2008? (every season was supposed to have taken place 20 years prior.)

my wife got me the entire series on dvd from e-bay or something. they were just taped from TV, so quality isn't great, but watchable.

I've got the answer as to why it hasn't been released on DVD. ?I just read this the other day.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094582/faq

Due to the high cost of securing music rights, the distributors of "The Wonder Years" and artists whose music appeared on the show have yet to come to an agreement. Original music rights agreements were negotiated before the widespread use of DVDs, thus the rights to use the music never extended beyond the original airings and syndication. Several television shows that have relied heavily on external music sources, most notably "WKRP in Cincinnati" and "The Wonder Years" therefore run into a problem, since the original agreements never included home video or DVD rights, thus the rights to each song must be renegotiated in order for the song to be included on the DVD. This can be very expensive, and can take many years. For example, the first season DVD of "WKRP in Cincinnati" released in 2007 omitted most of the original music in the soundtrack, since agreements could not be reached with many of the record companies. Therefore, music heard in the original airings and syndication was removed in favor of "generic" music, for which royalties are not due. For a show like "The Wonder Years," in which the original music is an essential part of the structure of each episode, music rights would have to be secured for each episode for each season, since using generic music would ruin the structure of the storytelling. The cost would likely run into the millions of dollars to secure tracks from "The Beatles" and other high-profile artists, which would cut into the profit margin of the DVD sales. This would reduce the profit margin significantly, thereby reducing the liklihood that a comprehensive DVD set would ever be released.

To date, there have been two 'best-of' DVD sets for "The Wonder Years" They are: "The Best of The Wonder Years: July 24, 1999" (1 Disc-2 episode set) and "The Christmas Wonder Years: July 24, 1999" (1 Disc-2 episode set). However, they are quite expensive and do not contain the original music.

I liked Becky Slater the best of Kevin's flames on The Wonder Years.  Winnie was too, blah.  Trouble always ensued in Becky Slater episodes.  Nicole Eggert was/is hot, but my top 80's sitcom chick has to be Samantha Miceli (Alyssa Milano).  She still looks fine as hell today.  Another random fact about an 80's childhood star, Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) had to get breast reduction surgery.  She had 38DD's, on that 5'1" frame.  Had to tame those puppies down to a 36C at age 15.

Yup, the kids teased her and called her Punky Boobster.   hihi

You mentioned Sam Micelli.  She was a close #2 to Jamie on Charles in Charge...who, btw, did end up in Scott Baio's long line of conquests.  That talentless lucky bastard!  hihi
