I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "show", "America's Funniest Home Videos", hosted by Bob Saget was good. I still remember the theme music.

Joanie Loves Chachi...definitely has a place on the list of "Worst Shows Ever."

America's Funniest Home Videos on a best of the '80's list?  As Balki Bartokomoos of Perfect Strangers would say to his cousin Larry Appleton, "Don't be riducu los"

I didn't know it was a best-of list. I thought we were reminiscing ... Smiley

P.S: Does anybody remember Ghost Writer?

Plus, there are again so many I don't remember the titles of:

1) Girl from the future somehow gets trapped in a white octagonal time machine and gets sent to some point in time. Rest of the series is how she tries to get back (the time machine gets stolen, damaged, etc.)

2) A series about a boy and a girl both of single-parents astrologers (who get married at the end). The story was about various things that happened between their families. A scene I remember from this vividly is the guy skateboarding on a huge radio telescope dish.

Plus, lots more I don't even know how to describe.  confused

Did anyone mention Quantum Leap?? It actually started in 1989 so it barely made the cut for the 80's.? I liked that show though.? Scott Bakula would be sent to a different time period in a different body each episode.

Yeh, Greatest American Hero was one of my faves.....

Remember Buck Rogers in the 21st Century!

Indeed.  I loved the Hawk character, and the talons that came down out of his ship...

Never saw it. By that point they should have just put the whole Happy Days saga to a close though.

That was in the 90s.

you listed some great shows but I don't think anyone listed MacGyver. Another cool show was American Gladiators. I wish I could have went on that show.  hihi

Didn't they used to hit each other with big foam q-sticks, while wearing helmets and eye protection? Something about an obstacle course too...

I think there was a Simpsons episode that had LuAnn (Millhouse's divorced mom) dating one of the American Gladiators.

btw, yes, Webster had to be mentioned...my favorites list contained about 75% of the shows that aired... Embarrassed

Did someone mention Fantasy Island and Loveboat or was that the 70's? What about SCTV - that was my favorite after Saturday night live would come on? Does anyone remember Angie? Or Wings? Or is Wings 90's? I have been around too long and watched too much television.

Isis? After school specials?

SCTV counts as '80's and yeah that was hilarious.   Guy Caballero played by Joe Flaherty I think?  So many of those guys and girls went on to be in everything on tv and in movies.  Moranis, Short, Martin, Thomas, Candy.

Wings was alright, but if I'm not mistaken, wasn't it a little '80's a little more '90's?  I can't remember.  To me it was always, ehh.  Alright.   Undecided
