Whoa I'm off that day so I may try to drive up and catch it.  I've always wanted to go to Scranton.  Why, I don't know...but I don't live that far and what better reason than to see VR.  Shit yeah!

Damn, is this their only date in PA? That'd suck if it was.

I'll be in the PIT. I got a hold of tickets that include VIP parking and stuff so it should be great.

I'll be in the pit too with my girlfriend! We'll have to arrange to hang near each other while we're in there!

The show was Great. I was against the barricade the whole time.? Security were major, major, dickheads.? You couldn't even pull out your cell phone without getting warned. Other than that it was full of energy. From the barricade to the stage was about 3 feet.

Every single member of the band was full of energy and Slash really tore it up. They played the usual set with Patience included.

It's a shame they didn't allow cameras because they wanted to make money selling their own photo packages. (The Venue)? I still managed to get a few shots of Slash anyway.

I rate the concert a 9/10.

Here is the best quality picture out of the bunch.

Where on the barricade were you? Me and my girlfriend were on the right towards Slash's side the whole night! I managed to get one of his picks, and I got bitched at by Sorum (no lie) from the stage because I went for a stick that he meant to give some 16 year old girl I guess - that was pretty humorous. I hear him go "Hey! Hey!" - I look up and he has this pissed off look on his face telling me to let go of it and let her have it. Sure - because the fact that her and her friends already had 2 or 3 picks from Alice In Chains and may have caught one of Slash's picks at this point wasn't enough.  Roll Eyes

Like I said, I did manage to get one of Slash's picks though. Found it on the ground after the show. He threw one at me at one point, but it landed behind the barricade the dickhead security guard looked up at my section, said "This one's mine" and pocketed it. He'll burn in hell.

Dead right on the security being major dicks - that is the worst that I've EVER seen them at Montage, and I've seen tons of shows there.

The show itself was great though - a little hard to hear Scott at times, but I give it a 9/10 as well!

I was wearing the red "Charlie don't surf" shirt.? You had to be right behind me. Probably the one I was in a tug of war with for that hankercheif. (which the dickhead security guy took).? Yeah that kid got 2 picks and wasn't even into VR just AIC.? Then security took Dave's pick for himself also.? ?My friend hocked a good one on that security guy towards the end.

Still a great concert though. I liked how Slash flicked his cig on the back of the neck of that security guard. haha

I was a little over to your left - I saw you most of the night. I had the black VR shirt on and my girlfriend was to my left in a tye-dye tanktop and black skirt.

That security guard was a MAJOR tool. He had a big shit eating grin on his face when he took the picks. I would have LOVED to knock him the fuck out! (And take the picks in the process!  hihi)

Slash mostly hung around the right side of the stage but he was moving around a lot.  He was into it.  Duff stuck to the left side of the stage mostly.
