U dont think It bothers Slash that the GNR name is being slowly destroyed?

I don't think it's being destroyed.  And anyway Slash could and would be in GnR if he wanted to be as far as we know.  Axl didn't throw him out of the band, he quit.

Slash's legacy is not being damaged or tarnished by the current GnR lineup.  The only way Slash's legacy will be tarnished is if he continues to release mediocre albums like Libertad and even then he only runs the risk of being called washed up, his legacy and GnR's legacy are still intact.  What Axl and the new lineup do doesn't change the music Slash made in GnR

Former Guns N? Roses guitarist has voiced his support for the band?s long overdue new album ?Chinese Democracy?.

The rocker ? now with Velvet Revolver ? says he fully expects the record to deliver the goods when it comes out? finally.

He says, ?I'm sure it?s got some amazing shit on it cos I know Axl and what he's capable of.

The lack of source leads me to believe this quote is probably weeks old.

Either way, its not really threadworthy.

I'm not exactly sure that he's voicing his support, but it certainly seems he's paying Axl a compliment.  Also found here:
