ROBERT PLANT / ALISON KRAUSS CD ?RAISING SAND?
DUE OCTOBER 23

The Robert Plant and Alison Krauss much anticipated collaboration titled ?Raising Sand? is due for release on October 23 via Rounder Records. Among the musicians featured on the T Bone Burnett-produced project are guitarists Marc Ribot and Norman Blake, multi-instrumentalist Mike Seeger, drummer Jay Bellerose and bassist Dennis Crouch. The CD includes the duo's version of Page & Plants ?Please Read The Letter? from the 1998 Walking Into Clarksdale album.

The full track listing for the ?Raising Sand? album with song composers is as follows:

There is no news as yet, as to whether the duo intend to tour or promote the album.
