Slash is the best guitarist any of you lot have ever heard, seen, existing in the same planet with.  He's written stuff you lot dream of being able to write, and I like the new band a lot, but not one of the new songs comes close to the quality of the songs Slash was involved in.

Slash has been involved with a lot of amazing works while he was in GN'R. Nobody is debating that.

Unfortunately for you, me and others with me, think this high standard doesn't reflect on his book which he (somewhat ironically) dedicates to GN'R fans like myself and the others who find his book far from perfect.
