the HD one is clearly better 'quality' due to being HD. 12.17 is shot at a nice angle though.

I've seen some of December 19th's show on Youtube, Better and IRS, right now, I'd have to say these are my favorite live versions of the songs.  I haven't heard Dec. 17th.  Would you folks say they are comparable?  If the 17th is as good as the 19th, that would be sayin' something for sure.   yes

17th is by far better than the 19th. The 19th was filmed with a DVD camcorder from the pit and is incomplete. While the 17th is filmed from the back left of the arena and is complete and everything.

Cotis, I know it's all subjective, but I was referring to the performance itself.  Axl and the band, even with so-so audio and visual, come shining through on the 19th vids.  I haven't heard Better and IRS from the 17th, but you think they're even "Better?" (pun intended  Smiley)
