10 Year Old Boy glues himself to bed to avoid School!

MONTERREY, Mexico (AFP) - A 10-year-old Mexican boy glued his hand to his bed to avoid going back to school after the Christmas break, authorities said Monday.


 
"I thought if I was glued to the bed, they couldn't make me go to school," the boy, Diego, told AFP. "I didn't want to go, the holidays were so much fun."

"I remembered my mom had bought a very strong glue," he said of the industrial strength shoe glue he used to stick his hand to the bed's metal headboard, where he stayed stuck for two hours.

His mother Sandra Palacios was unable to free him and called paramedics and police to help. Diego watched cartoons while they worked to unglue him, eventually using a spray to dissolve the chemical adhesive.

"I don't know why this happened. He is a very good boy," said his mother.

Diego eventually made it school a few hours late

He probably thought his mom wouldn't go all out to get the glue off.

I never did anything as creative. Only faked illness but I had to lay in the bed all day long cause if I was caught lying - watch out. I did lay in bed for like 8 hours though and played some games and read but said I was feeling better so I could get up later.

A kid did puke on me in grammar school though and I begged my mom to come get me cause I had to take my shirt off since it was covered in puke and sit in my weskit and coat until I went home. She wouldn't come get me and told me to stay at school, puke is nothing to be afraid of. I smelled real purty that day.

well i havent  got anything extreme. but once in primary school i was next to this kid and he was like. dude i wanna go home, i was like well you cant its school time.

So he went im getting out of here and then decided to piss himself right there on the spot. hilarious.

When I was around 12 yrs old, I ate a few salmon eggs ( fish bait) so I could more convincingly act the part of being sick to convince my parents I could not go to school that day.

I went to school with a lad who read medical books and found the symptoms to various illness to have time off school.

True story -  He faked an appendicitis and had hes apendix removed!  He must have really hated the place......

..anyway, the 3 ditching-school-stories above are much better then mine, i just usually say that i need to stay home from school because i have to do school work, it always works too
