I read this comic book and it did KICK ASS. Some funny shit in it. Not really sure where Nov. Rain would fall in, but - hey - who's complaining.

It was a test screening, so they used temp music. I doubt November rain will end in the final version of the movie, but I sure do hope so!!!!!

From Jimmy Fallon's twitter

jimmyfallon    Great show tonight: slater, nicholson, axl, reiser, mavis beacon, randy jackson, pants, ground and goats.

Now, obviously Axl's not gonna be on the show tonight since he's doing a show of his own.  Jimmy's just throwing out names I guess?

This wasn't the one I saw played the other night, but must've been the original.

Say what you want but I liked that bit, i know that Jimmy is huge 80's hard rock/glam rock fan, and we remember how excited he was when he announced GNR to stage on VMA's 2002.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny.  Jimmy's obviously a fan and I view this as a tribute of sorts.  He could've picked ANY singer, but he went with Axl.

The clip I saw on the show the other night can be seen on the shows website.

In part 1, it comes in at about 1:50 and Axl "plays the clip out" in part 2.

On the Suite Life of Zack and Cody they did a parody of November Rain that was called Hot December Snow. you can see it on youtube. I tivoed it, and I love to watch Dylan do his Axl impression. " When I'm with my best friend, I feel a warm wind blow. And when we buy a doughnut, we both poney up the dough. But friends are not  forever, well that just the way things go, and it's tough to make an angel in the hot December snow."

The ending of the album "ADULTS!" released yesterday by Bomb The Music Industry! on Quote Unquote Records has the riff from SCOM being played on guitar at the end.

They also played the riff from Coma live at their 2007 CD release show.

And their old band The Arrogant Sons Of Bitches released a song on the album "Pornocracry" in 2000 called "November Rain" that was not a cover. (Which i had nothing to do with but I did play on other songs on that album).

Fun facts from the Ska-Punk world.

I thought the scene in "Step Brothers" with the family singing "Sweet Child O' Mine" in the car was pretty funny.

There was a news report about a serial killer here in Brazil and the TV used part of Shackler's riff. Smiley
