I personally think those jocks are idiots.

U really think Ozzy is gonna beat Bon Jovi? Bon Jovi have WAY more fans than Ozzy, are u kidding me?

But I guess putting Bon Jovi over Ozzy would look "uncool" and god damn it we can't have that!

I wonder if "Wanted Dead or Alive" inspired Bush's speech on bin Laden?

Anyway, this is a fun thing...but they REALLY must've struggled to come up with enough good bands for the later decades.  I mean, when you KNOW that either Zep or The Who will be eliminated in round two, but that SOAD or Incubus will make Round three...Yeah...there's not a lot of balance between the decades.

Bands should've been seeded, I think.

I filled it out, quickly, and had Pink Floyd, GNR, Tool, and NIN making the final four.  But there isn't a single band in the Foo Fighters part of the bracket that I'd take over a single band in the Zeppelin part of the bracket.

in reference to your posts in the gnr part about KISS.

I dont understand whats so good about them, minus theatrics. There music is really really tacky n i jsut dont hear any quality in there songs.

minus a couple of hits which are catchy. But other songs i listened to really bored me and i can never see why they are loved, for the music.

Its all about image and stage theatrics i think.

Yeah I finally gave KISS atry about  year ago after 22 years on this earth thinking they were tacky and lame. I downloaded a whole bunch of their catalogue and was left very unimpressed by everything I heard. Some of the solos Ace played were good and that was IT! Really don't get their popularity.

Yeah, I did the same a few months back.  Tried three albums, from different parts of their career.  Just....nothing!  No energy, bland....bleh.  It's just a decades long marketing campaign.

Kiss are great! you can all suck a bug. They'll be remembered for better or worse, YOU won't!  They're a great Rock N' Roll band nothing more.  I mean why do you guys listen to music? Do you think it's going to change your world in some small way?

Now run along and listen to what ever it is you listen to and be inspired.

Looks like GNR properly trounced the Beastie Boys with 73.3% of the vote.

Fairly certain they're against Brian Johnson era AC/DC in Round 3.  This is voted on WEDNESDAY 3/26 at 1pm (no idea about the time zone).

If they win, they'll inevitably be up against Metallica, who I'm betting will defeat Ozzy.

I dunno much about Bon Jovi that's for sure and that have it's reasons, but here's what i think about 'em they were a (and i know people hate this labeling shit but) Hairband in the 80's, were they pop/rock in the 90's? and now they're doing country..

ozzy was with iommy, butler and ward the creaters of heavy metal..

bon jovi have written rock anthems yup i give you that one, ozzy've written war pigs and i guess you could call some of his songs anthems too no?

both artists sell out stadiums, ozzy does it solo and with sabbath, jon bon jovi does it with his band sure, dunno if he does it solo?

who cares but your love for BJ makes you kinda ignorant maybe D?
