personally i found the story to be strong but the gameplay to be too easy/simple compared to previous mgs titles.

What really bugged me was how MGS4 introduced no new characters other than Drebin. Sure, it's great to see nearly everyone from the series, but c'mon

probably because this was the last game in the series, it was more about finishing stories up than starting new ones!

I was glad to get the narrative finished up, but I was somewhat let down by the gameplay itself.

Yeah the gameplay didn't let me down at all. It reminded me of some kind of Resident Evil 4 meets MGS3 kind of deal.

^RE4 was epic, i hope the 5th one does not dissappoint.

RE4 got me into the res games, i didnt really dig the old psone RES titles.
