I think street of dreams is The Blues....

No oh my god and silkworms ok hihi

I don't know why everyone bags on Silkworms so much. I really dig that song.

Is anyone else a bit skeptical about this tracklist?

I don't like Silkworms, but I am definately sceptical about the tracklist as well!

I hope Im wrong but something doesn't feel right. I think I might just be tired though. LOl.

was hoping for more unheard tracks, so because of that I hope the listing is bogus.
but if it's the correct one, Im definately happy enough!

I think a re-recorded version of Oh My God would be kick ass,

it has some of my favourite lyrics by axl in that song..
although his voice in it is average at best.

The lyrics and voice are great but the melody itself doesn't hold up to GNR standard.

I'm not that surprised to see alot of songs we've heard before. I was kind of expecting it.

Again about Street of Dreams, even on the Set list during the Ausralian tour it was down as BLUES. It wouldn't surprise me either way but still not too sure.

I know it's early in the morning in the states but its getting late here and I'm getting keen on bed so could someone please wake the fuck up a tell us something.  hihi

6. Better
7. This I Love
8. There Was A Time
9. Riad N' The Bedovins
10. Sorry
11. I.R.S.

Any of you "old timers" remember an alleged Axl quote (reported in a Rolling Stone rumor section I believe) from the late 90's where he said that he wanted the next Guns album (no title at that point) to be made up of entirely "chart worthy singles" or some such thing (The quote may have been from Moby or Youth actually now that I think about it)? Based on the songs we have heard of on this list already (bolded)... all of which I think have solid chart potential... could that be where we're headed here? Especially if you take into consideration: (1) how Bach was raving about "Sorry"; (2) "Street of Dreams" could be "The Blues"; and (3) "This I Love" has long been rumored as a next "chapter" of the trilogy or whatever... That really only leaves "Scrapped" as a complete stylistic unknown as far as I know...

I honestly think Uncle Axl could be making a run at putting out an album where EVERY TRACK charts at some level or another. The ultimate fuck you to the critics and haters. Kind of a Guns N' Roses Achtung Baby of sorts. Incredible. drool

TBH i rkn street of dreams is the blues; there's no way the blues would be cut, and also "the blues" is a pretty gay name, esp. for mainstream people; not epic or meaningful enough..

Also, the fact that "street of dreams" is included in the tracklist has convinced me that thats the real tracklist; i mean cmon, if you were a BB employee/hacker, changing the blues' name to "street of dreams" is a pretty obscure random thing to do. As is shortening Catcher in the Rye to catcher; totally reads like an album tracklist. I'm convinced.

This is awesome....great tracklist....I can't wait to hear the final verison of these songs....I personally do hope "Street of Dreams" is "The Blues" because it is one of my favorite songs that GNR ever did...having said that I am really excited that "Rhiad" is on the album because for a long time now I thought that it wasnt going to be...I can't wait!!!!!!

More good news which has come to us.

Kind of expecting that we've already heard a majority of the songs on the album, but they will sound much better, trust me. There are going to be BIG differences between whatever live versions and incomplete demos/rough mixes are out there and the final versions on the album.

And we get two or three newer songs, not to mention "Catcher in the Rye", that is fuckin amazing.
