Yeah, The Roxy has a capacity of 500-600 people. You'd think in the greater LA area there would be alot more fans that wanna check out the event. Fernando better make sure the HTGTH members get in  Grin

Alright, a good friend in here talked me down.

You can take me off the list. My first real listen to this very special piece of music needs to be just for me. Its way too personal.

There are too many unknowns for this shindig. What if there are some anti-Axl shit talkers? What if there are technical difficulties. So many unknowns, how can I risk my first real experience with it? It means too much. I am going to have to regretfully decline.

I mean shit, I just ordered a brand new pair of headphones just for this. Its how I pictured the moment for so long. This event I am sure will be fun as hell. I hope you mofos give some detailed impressions.

Not going to name drop but, if you think about the reasoning behind it, do you really not see why this might not be the best thing? You must have imagined the moment you would first hear CD proper like. For me, it will be like a religious experience (I am guessing that is what it will be like, I am agnostic). Its way personal.

It's just that to me hearing it along with 500 other die-hards and sharing this once in a lifetime experience means so much more. It's like do you wanna see a GN'R concert with 10,000 other crazy fans, or do you want to be the only one in the venue when the band perfroms? I find the latter option too introvertant and even selfish. Sorry.   peace

A wise man once said:

"I think that after all this time the first listen should be pure and unadulterated"

Listen, I am way. Let me say that again. WAYYYYY into seeing GN'R in a packed house full of kick ass gunners.  You want to get crazy then lets get crazy. I am throwing the gauntlets down. I challenge you to a GN'R fanoff!

This is about who saw GN'R live the most. No bullshit. You accept?

Those were some fighting words leatherebel.

Let me put this in simple terms for you. I am real hopeful GN'R will be supporting the new album with some big fucken tour, you dig what I'm saying? There will be a time to enjoy this music communally with other appreciative fans.

But maybe, just maybe, this time... the first time... should be just for me.  smoking

I am not sure what exactly you are challenging me to but yes when they tour I'll try to see as many shows as I can.

Dizzy and Tommy came, but I didn't notice any acknowledgment from them.  Shocked

I got a shirt, a poster, and a sticker.  I got to hear the album.

KROQ interviewed me, I said nice things.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening.
