What's there to be surprised about? This is the classic GnR everyone loves so much. It sounds like it would fit perfectly in with Use Your Illusion I or II.

I voted for Better because I love it and got to hear it live for the 1st time and seven more times aftet that. I love all the songs on it. What an amazing album.  beer

Its weird CD has actually made me wanna go back and listen to the Illusion records, you can definitely hear the Illusions on CD and vise versa.

I agree, well, almost.

Sorry just slightly over Better, Scraped, and This I Love. (Shackler's is really growing on me and then there's the rest of ALL the remaining songs).

Better may have been my favorite.  I probably would have floated away with goosebumps when Better came on 3 songs in had I not heard it before.

There's so little distance between songs 1 & 14 on my list.  Even Riad grows on me each time I hear it.

I give up actually trying to rate them.  Each and every song has a life to it separate from each and every other song on this album.  Its just plain crazy.  Unimaginable.  Mind blowing.  I just can't talk about it anymore.  After each song finishes, each time, I look at my wife and my eyes are popping out of my head in wonderment.
