hm...I guess you have to wonder about the quality of your 'relationship' when it's an open relationship. I think a possible danger of swinging is the 'relationship' becoming all about sex and if sex is all ya got there isn't much keeping you together.
I personally think people should fuck as many people as you can without any regard for other people's opinions. (I can't stand the double standard that guys have to be studs and girls have to be practically chaste) That's not to say 'disregard the consequences' or 'disregard your personal safety or the safety of another' (do I have to add in 'always use a condom'?), and I'm definitely not saying 'cheat on your partner'!!
'sex' is taken way too seriously, I think. Making love isn't taken nearly seriously enough and I think there are HEAPS of people out there who are having sex with their partner when they should be making love and vice versa.
Heh, imo if a guy isn't good in bed then there's no way it's anything beyond a regretable, forgettable one-night-stand. Hence the multiple partners.

Either way, I don't get the swinging thing. Beyond the fact that you are open to disease and god knows what else, I find it to be a lifestyle of unhappy folk.
If you want to be single and do what you want that is one thing but to have a partner saying "you are not enough to please me" just would never be my cup of tea.
