GNR-Online BR contacted the productor that's bringing Guns N' Roses to Brazil. He said:

 - He's trying to arrenge 5 concerts in March.
 - S?o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Recife are already confirmed.
 - More places are under negotiations.
 - He can't tell us the GNR cache(price).
 - The only thing that can avoid the concerts is Axl.

i don't get one thing. how bad of a professional are you when you publicly discuss your negotiations with everyone before they are announced.

The only thing that makes me doubt these concerts is the lack of ethics from the promotors. Either that or people are lying about what the promotors really said.

I dont think people are lying. But I'm sure people know how we've been there before.

I just hope its true. Hurts me to not be able to catch them in Recife, but I will be in the Sao Paulo gig for sure if it indeed happen.

well i for one believe the fans, i fear fot the open discussion that these promotors have of the gigs and the jeopardize they put the band in, in case the negotiations don't fall through. good business man don't discuss nothing publicly until it's certain and they get an ok from all the parts involved, and it's not difficult to see why. so i don't understand what's goin on here...

Tell me that wouldn't be an epic night! Who's in?

It seems like in many places, the promoters only comment on concerts that have been finalized.

Maybe they'd say something like "We'd love to bring the band here". But to say things like "it's up to Axl".

What the fuck...

Seems like a very poor negotiating tactic...weak promoter may believe he is gaining an edge by placing public pressure on the band.  If the band does not do the concert, the promoter lays it all on them.  I shouldn't be...but I am truly shocked at the lack of integrity.  Perhaps dishonest promoters should join lawyers, politicians, and real estate agents on my 'list'! rant

Exactly. That fuck things up big time.

Thats why I've been asking people to be careful with those promoters. This is the same one who's been talking about bring the band for months. If it doesnt happen, guess who this guy would blame?

What I was trying to say is that I could say I wanna book a festival with GN'R, the Rolling Stones, U2 and a bunch of other bands and say "it's now up to them".

What I'm not telling anybody is that I offered them a 12-pack of Bud and $100 each.

So to just say "it's now up to the band" is just lame when nobody except the ones taking part in negotiations know the full deal!

I wouldn't fuck with Irv, he's just likely to come down there and take over the whole concert business.
