I think they?ve screwed up the whole promotion so far, that?s why people are complaining. No new bands, Prodigy cancelling, no real news, etc.
But hey, I really don?t care about the warm-up bands, I?m happy as long as I get to see GnR and have a good time. Grin

By the way, did anyone else notice that the festival map looks different? Didn?t the first version have two stages and a bigger festival area? Or am I just imagining things?

Propably 10-15 000. Keskinen said now, that they?d be pleased with 17 000 sold tickets.

Sorry but where did he say this?

Well here for example:

http://www.rumba.fi/guns-n-roses-perui-kesakeikkoja-%E2%80%93%C2%A0kuinka-kay-helsinki-liven-7681/

Keskinen says that a little over 10 000 tickets has been sold. But other sources claim even smaller numbers.

Chinese Democracy out 2014!

I'm not even considering this as a festival anymore, it's just a GN'R concert with a couple of warm-ups. But that's ok 'cause I don't care about the other bands Tongue But when I heard about this Helsinki Live Festival for the first time, I said that it's not going to be that huge and something's going to happen. It's been so weird from the start. I think it would have been good to just get GN'R do a show or two at Hartwall Arena.

But anyway, I'm just happy they're here and don't care where they play Smiley

Guys GNR are gonna put on a great show!
Wouldnt be worried about curfew, they will go on @9pm and play till 11 and maybe a little after.
When they played Dublin, they went on on time due to Curfew.
And when I was at the Leeds festival, Axl "nicely" asked the organisers to ensure they could play on as "he wouldn't want a riot to incite"

Can't wait to see what they play in Bergen, i think that will be the setlist in Helsinki too. Of course there's a chance of duet with Michael.

Btw, who's going to see Michael's band in the evening? I think i will, but there's a lot of waiting after that until GNR comes out, i dont know what im going to do there, just sit around for like 5 hours?  Cheesy

Michael Monroe is the only GNR friendly warm up act on the bill, and Danko Jones, who are kinda like the new age Brian May band

The festival updated their schedule a bit (http://www.helsinkilivefestival.fi/fi/aikataulu). GNR starting half an hour earlier - in the schedule, at least. The festival's Facebook update also claims with capital letters that Guns N' Roses will do a long set in Helsinki. Also, earlier it said that the gates will be closed at 11 pm, now that's an hour later, too. That probably doesn't have anything to do with the music curfew, though.

A little more info added: "Biggest outdoor stage ever seen in Finland."
