Thanks for the news.  Always good to hear something new from Buckethead.  I will be buying this shortly.

Im really liking this. Mellow, kind of like Colma and Electric Tears.

Does someone recognize the "chorus" melody from Sled Ride? I know i've heard that melody somewhere, just can't remember where.

Good album. Not as good as his previous mellow efforts, but definitely better than anything I've heard from Slash's album.

I got my copy in the mail yesterday and I am really liking this one!  The album has a great mellow theme to it, and it seems as if the songs flow smoothly from one to the next.  My favorite songs are "shadows between the sky"  "inward journey" "centrum" and " the cliff's stare" although it feels like more of a full album than a group of songs.  Masterful guitar playing, yet not over-the-top , and I love how Bucket is able to craft these songs and emotions from the guitar.   It is like Buckethead is taking you on a guitar adventure.

 ok ok

I think this record is very similar to "Electric Tears" (except Shadows Between The Sky a little bit up-tempoer). Loved the first track, but then it kinda goes around the same ideas. Nevertheless, i enjoyed it very much.

BTW, how many Bucket records are? I think i'll never be able to listen to em all.

Including collabs and guest appearances, over 100.

That's insane - very Bucket-ish.

Thanks for your response.

I think you have to admire how much material Buckethead has put out over the years. My favourite Buckethead song has still got to be Nottingham Lace, Big Sur Moon is amazing too but I think of that as more of a short interlude.

Amazing songwriter and guitarist, you can't deny his ability.  Wink
