Issue with posting in the threads. Any help would be appreciated!!

i'm having a problem with posting. when i type a post, as soon as it gets long enough to where a scroll bar needs to appear, it just automatically scrolls to the top. it makes it impossible to see what i am typing, and thus very difficult to post (especially to repond to other's posts).

there's also something going with my cursor. it's constantly blinking really fast, and the letters so not show up in a very smooth manner as i type either (if that makes any sense). and when i use backspace it is every slow.

does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? i'm assuming it's some setting on my IE or something. any thoughts would be appreciated!

seems to be working! thank you sir! 

it was the "compatibility view," which i now have selected. and although the cursor still blinks like rapid fire, the backspace is working fine now too.
