But really now, you say you've posted this in many threads, and obviously been awaiting a reply, and you claim to be a previous user of dime, therfore familiar with their site,  yet this just took me around a minute to find, copy and paste and type for you...    Grin



No need to attempt being a smart ass. I've tried several times to get another slot at Dime over the years to no avail. So I was wondering if there were a way to get invited back in. I know why my account was deleted (as I said originally) and never asked for any special treatment, but again thanks for bolding that part in an attempt to be a smart ass.

So the long and the short of it is I just have to wait for a slot to open, no way for someone else to send me an invite.

Russ, I've lost my account there last year too. All I needed was to refresh the sign up page a lot of times till it was open (I don't think I did that for that long, tho).

Ok great! Thanks for the info! I'm off work tomorrow so I may start early in the day and see if I can get in on this. I always leave stuff seeding for a long time after too since I'm rarely home. Hoping I can help out with this show.

the toirrent was banned, cuz it was reedited after digitalization. (a problem with the logo). DIME SUX

Vegas 9: I used it to cut off the screen's edges, so the screen's picture would take over all the video aspect (if you see the videos on youtube you'll see the difference). Vegas reads the .m2ts files. After I did what I had to do, I saved the videos in full resolution .avi files.

Adobe audition: I opened the full resolution .avi files and improved the audio (EQ, compressor and mastering tool. The difference if HUGE!). Then I saved the videos with the improved audio and, since Adobe Audition doesn't change anything on the image's aspect of the videos, there was no quality lost on this process.

Win DVD Creator: I opened the full resolutions .avi files with the improved audios and authored the DVDs: I added the chaptures, the menus and the logo. I did the logo as small as I could, and I even tried to change it's opaticy, but the software doesn't allow you to do it. Then I pressed the "create DVD" button and that was it: the DVD was ready.

I didn't encode the files just to put the logo on...that's ridiculous. I just used a feature that the authoring software gives me.
