I do believe im seting a good example though. When i first got into GNR my cds were all burned cds... I loved the band so much that eventually i bought the whole original collection of albums and some bootlegs. Im also buying them all in SHM-CD format

i suddenly feel old.........
My gnr collection started with vinyl, in 1988, AFD original as gift from my grandparents, i was 11.........

Had lots of lp's allready, but, then i got into GNR some more, now, not so much anymore, still collect the vinyls, but listen more to my older love, Heavy-Metal.............

Anyway, a "my-collection" topic could be nice?

It's kinda hard to see but:

At the left there's a frame with pictures and tickets from 2006

On the upper shelf from left to right: dvd's, singles, 2 mini books, vhs and a model guitar.
On the lower shelf bootleg cd's from 86-2010.

On the wall to the right I have the banned appetite fro destruction and uncensored gn'r lies framed.

I also have some books but not on this picture Smiley

There's my chinese democracy collection (and above it other gn'r albums).
I also have chinese democracy framed with an golden disc next to it, but don't have a picture of that..

Oh, and I have a big ass 2006 touring poster:

edit:
I actually do have a picture of chinese democracy framed:

I just bought a new bootleg cd to add to my collection... i thought the cover was really cool and marks the infamous "Leak era".

Its funny how much of an impact the "Leak Era" had on the media, bootlegers and of course even the band!

Its certainly a mark on Guns N'Roses history, whether its for the negative or positive. Anyways heres the bootleg:

Im sorry for the quality of the pics, but the material on the digipack is not the best, and it seems to get worse everytime i put a different flash.

I love looking at other peoples GN'R collections, it's amazing just how much is out there. I have an impressive collection myself, but the things that mean the most to me are the items I have collected travelling to see GN'R. Like ticket stubs, confetti, Robins Bottle, t shirts, Keyrings and other various items from the country I may have visited.  Wink

Nice stuff guys.  ok

I held that confetti stuff a couple of times, wondering if I should keep it or not.. I ended up throwing it away Smiley

Haha.

But also I like to keep all of my recordings and photos, like what I have taken on my Nokia N70 (Good Quality). Each GN'R show I have attended, I have a folder with all the video and photos I had taken. I have backed them up by disc, and also by uploading them online. I plan on getting a USB stick and also an external hardrive sometime in the future.

I think it's a nice thing to do on top of collecting tickets, t shirts and various other things.  Smiley

I only take a few pictures every gig, I try to enjoy the show as much as I can Wink But I do hope somebody bootlegs every show. It's indeed very nice to have recordings from a show you attended Smiley
