Mark me down.  Just got hooked up with a ticket and we're heading there in full force.  We've got a group of 10 so far, but that's sure to grow.

No problem.  Thanks to all who informed me about the Floor tickets.  Didn't even think that'd be an option for that venue and I didn't notice it either.  I had tickets WAY at the back of the theater until I was swayed in that direction.  Quickly exchanged those and got the Pit tickets.  It'll be my first time on the floor, so I hope it's as awesome as I could imagine.

A little writeup from the Hartford Courant announcing the show.  A bit snarky, but what do you expect?

Guns N' Roses Returns To Hartford Nov. 19

Eric R. Danton SOUNDCHECK: Music News & Views

September 22, 2011
The current incarnation of Guns N' Roses returns to Hartford for the first time since 2002 with an indoor show Nov. 19 at Comcast Theatre in Hartford; tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $69 and $49 via http://www.livenation.com. You may be wondering: who's in this version of the band? Good question. Mercurial frontman Axl Rose is joined by guitarists DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal; bassist Tommy Stinson (yes, that Tommy Stinson); keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman; and drummer Frank Ferrer. Rose promises a 2 1/2-hour show, though it's not clear whether that includes the time he spends refusing to go on stage.

I e-mailed DJ Mike Karolyi from WCCC in Hartford and asked him about a curfew.  He said there was none, which is what I assumed/hoped since it is an INDOOR show this time around.  The venue normally does have a curfew for outdoor shows, but we should be good for this one.

I'll be in the parking lot pre-show, then on the floor for the show wearing my grey Guns N' Roses T-shirt.  6' tall, devilishly handsome for all the ladies out there.  I kid, I kid.  Can't wait for this though.  Friends are coming over in a couple hours to get this party started.

Hartford has some pretty good places to eat/bars.  But I have to be honest, I'm not all that familiar with the area surrounding the Comcast Theater.  Other than The Gold Club, if you want to have a meal "with a view".  Not sure I'd trust the food there though.  hihi
