will definitely be there! so psyched for a local show.  ok

i'm getting 8 tix myself tomorrow. i have another 4-8 friends express interest and i am hoping they get tix on their own. if i can get a group of about 14 or so, we'll probably rent a yellow school bus that would leave from NE philly around 5, convenient ride there and a warm place to tailgate.

unfortunately, there is not really a good place to meet up before the show. if the ferry was running, there would be tons of great options across the river in philly. that is still a possibility since there's a train that goes from philly to camden, or if you are driving its just a quick 5 minute drive. but it's kind of a hassle - parking in philly is annoying, and if you take the train you have to walk about 2 blocks through camden which isn't the most pleasant walk.  hihi

if the weather is decent, meeting in the parking lot is an option. i'll bring plenty of beer to share.  beer

How is the Susquehanna Bank Center in terms of seeing a show? I am in section 102 straight on. Tickets were expensive for this show.

it's very good, especially where you are. you will have a good view of the stage. even in the back of the 100 level is decent cause you are not too far. but 102 is a great section because it is center stage. the view from sections 100 and 104 is a little annoying because you are looking at the stage from an angle. and if you are near the outside walls, the view is average and you feel far from the stage.

sound varies inside this place as well. it's best when it's an indoor show, as this one is. again, in the 100 level the sound is very good. i think you will be pleased with it.

that sucks but I guess rules are rules. Nice of you too give people a heads up. I remember the Hammerstein shows and how the NY cops were nice enough to let people dump there booze in the gutter. I think one guy got a ticket out of everyone. Not an issue for me but again nice of you too warn people.

There's no revenue coming in thanks to the unemployed.  They've got to get funds some way.  As long as they leave us folks driving a little too fast alone and pick on the drunks, I'm good!

Thanks for supporting your local police.

Also be very careful driving around the area to get to the verizon ampitheater.  Going to see Pearl Jam, I hit a GIANT speedbump by a school that is a block from the place...it screwed my alignment up pretty bad and knocked some things loose.  Couldn't even see the speedbump.

And yes the police are always brutal around that place....I'm not going there ever again for anything.  I will stick to Wilkes-Barre.

I am there!!!!  I can't fucking wait!!!   yes
Section 202...me, 2 friends of mine, my bro-in-law, and whatever girl he's with at that point...in a matter of days after I got tickets, he changed girls.  The over/under is on 2 more changes before November 26th.  hihi

Hopefully the weather's okay...a little bit o' tailgating would be a blast!  No beer for me, but thanks for the offer Sandman!  I've been gluten-free for almost 2 1/2 years!

I'd love to meet up with fellow HTGTH'ers again.  See ya'll later!   peace

Hi, could anyone kindly advise me please if I can catch/call a taxi after the show to some hotel in Philly near to the venue?  I was planning to ride a tour bus from NYC to the venue that was to depart to NYC 30 minutes after the show, but it was canceled today.  Therefore now I am thinking to use train to go/return to/from there, but I know today that Camden is not so safe place (sorry for my ignorance, I came to the states just 3 weeks ago) and it seems I cannot walk 30-60 minutes at night to some hotel in Philly.  If there will not be any taxi available at around 1:00am (or anytime after the show), I should leave the show early at around 11:00pm to catch the last NJ transit train to NYC.  (BTW, will the band hit on stage at around 10:00pm??  Is it too optimistic?)

Also, I believe just walking from the arena to the nearest Entertainment Center Station Camden should be OK even in the night, isn't it?

Any advise would be very much appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

I am not sure about taxis. U may want to call the venue.

The show will probably end around 2am.

My cousin lives downtown philly and is planning on taking PATCO to philly after the show. It runs all night once an hour and it is about $3-$4 dollars each way. It should be ok after the show because there will be a number of people doing the same thing. Its about 2 to 3 blocks away, but as long as you r walking with a group of 10+ people you should be ok.

No need to apologize.....camden is a shit-hole. One of the highest crime rates in the country.

Welcome to the states! Enjoy philly and enjoy the show!!!!
