Getting this going just in case.  There is not much to talk about right now, but this Jerry West "Dream Game" thing is pretty awesome.  As many of you know, Jerry West is known as the greatest evaluator of talent in the history of the NBA.  He put together his list of what would be the greatest NBA game ever played..I think he is dead on, here is the article

Jerry West picks his all-dream and all-underappreciated NBA players

Jerry West in his autobiography, "West By West: My Charmed, Tormented Life," includes a few interesting lists of players.

The first list is the East and West rosters for his dream NBA game. West is very specific about this game. It is played at Madison Square Garden, with a 2:30 p.m. tipoff time. Hand-checking is permitted. Traveling and palming are not. Mendy Rudolph, Joe Gushue and Richie Powers are the refs. All players must travel by coach. No entourages. No tweeting. Each player is in his prime.

East (Coach: Red Auerbach; Assistant: Phil Jackson):

    * Kobe Bryant
    * Julius Erving
    * Dwyane Wade
    * Larry Bird
    * Oscar Robertson
    * Bill Russell
    * Wilt Chamberlain
    * Tim Duncan
    * Dennis Rodman
    * Steve Nash
    * Charles Barkley

West (Coach: Pat Riley; Assistant: Greg Popovich):

    * Michael Jordan
    * Elgin Baylor
    * LeBron James
    * Rick Barry
    * Magic Johnson
    * Shaquille O'Neal
    * Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    * Karl Malone
    * Hakeem Olajuwon
    * John Stockton
    * Jerry West

West also made a list of players whose games he admired and "whose contributions I personally felt were undervalued, underappreciated, underrated, or all three." Duncan, Olajuwon, Barry, Stockton and Rodman fall in this category and made his dream team. The others:

    * Walt Frazier
    * Dick Barnett
    * George Gervin
    * Clyde Drexler
    * Scottie Pippen
    * James Worthy
    * Moses Malone
    * Robert Horry
    * Kevin Garnett
    * Paul Pierce
    * Dominique Wilkins
    * Bill Walton
    * John Havlicek
    * David Thompson
    * Gary Payton
    * Grant Hill
    * Kevin McHale
    * Nate Thurmond

Id put my money on the East.

You could theoretically get a lead and put

Wade PG
Kobe SG
Rodman SF
Duncan PF
Russell C

and nobody would score on that lineup.

dude the West has Abdul Jabbar, Jordan, Malone the top 3 scorers in NBA history on their team, I think they would have no problem scoring, especially with Stockton and Magic passing them the ball.

Well looks like there will be a season after all. Players and Owners have reached a tentative agreement.

better than zero thats for sure.  The NBA season is too long as it is, at least the games will mean a little more.

There are a lot of rumors flying around the web and Twitter that the Celtics are thinking about signing free agent Allen Iverson.

A Boston Herald brief take suggested that Danny Ainge is an Iverson fan and that he could end up in Boston. That sounds like quite a longshot to us, but you never know. If he does end up in Boston (or anywhere else), he's going to come off the bench, even if he's still in NBA playing shape. In other words, owners in standard leagues would probably be wise to stay away unless he ends up in an ideal situation.
