They had the very upper part of the arena blacked out, but it looked like all of the other seats were full, plus the floor was packed.  Philips Arena can hold 21,000. I don't think the upper part would account for half. I think there had to be over 10,000.

I drove from Tupelo, MS for this show! I seen Guns last year in Hamilton and London. This show was by far the best of the 3. There was no long wait. the upper risers were closed off but every seat i could see was filled. Axl was in the best mood that ive ever seen him in. He joked a lot with the crowd. Performed a 3+ hour set list. Ron let me play his guitar during part of a song which was fuckin amazing! Caught a Guitar pick from DJ and Ron. Shook Axl's hand! The one thing that surprised the hell out of me was that we were able to pull out our cameras and take pictures right in Axl's face. I got pictures he starred at me and posed for pictures! Axl is defiantly out to prove a point with this tour!

From what I'm hearing I'm so pumped for KC.  Except one major concern, every show somebody somewhere complains about the arena's acoustics.  This never seems to be a problem with other bands.  Pump up the volume guys.  Axl gets so pissed when the crowd isn't rocking out.  the reason I don't is because if I sing at all I can't hear him!  In Tacoma I actually told the people next to me to quiet down so i could hear the effing band.

Is there a better intro than Chinese Democracy?  If so, show me because I don't think there is.  I love how it all builds up with DJ up on the stage and then the flames/fireworks start going off and then boom, there's Axl.

Wow thats some amazing pics!! and terrific camera!!  I Have a question for ya and anyone that has been front rows , how early did you arrive at the venue ? i  have floor seats for the first time for Chicago and i want to get as close as i can for the show? were you there when the doors open or how is it done?
