I wonder if Axl will still release Industrial songs since that genre is out of style now.

If you think he's purely motivated by what's in style now, maybe the next GN'R album will be hip hop and K-Pop?

Using technology and pushing yourself isn't necessarily about trying to fit in or be trendy.

I think I have enjoyed most of his musical work.

What musical style is predominant in Chinese Democracy? Regardless of the genres I like the album.

It doesn't really sound like, something like Ministry, to me.

Hard Skool sounds more like classic rock to me. Absurd reminds me of punk rock.

Every influence is like a spice in a dish. It sounds like GN'R, but with different influences mixed together.

In my opinion Absurd is a cross between Gnr and Prodigy in the 90s
a bit industrial and punk rock . Hardskool is more basic hard rock that Gnr are famous for 🤷🏻‍♂️

What about you? How do you rate them? Do these songs sound industrial to you? Do you listen to any bands that are considered industrial or electronic?

HardSkool 6
Absurd 8

And yes, I know I'm a minority here.

Hard Skool is definitely one of those things you launch with a proper "come back" video with all the members of the actual band, including references to the past best videos (Don't Cry, Garden of Eden, Since I don't Have You) and clues about what the future of the band will be, before a campaign for the next album.

It is hard for me to rate these songs but I can tell you I do not put them on repeat. I think I do not listen to industrial music, except the most popular NIN songs.
How about you do you like these newer songs? Do you enjoy repeating them?

They're like any other GN'R songs. So yes, I do listen to them.

I'm still shocked that some people don't like Bad Apples. It's one of the last truly collaborative writing efforts of the classic lineup.

it gave me the idea of searching on Google "worst GNR song" and the first link :

1. Bad Apples – Use Your Illusion I (1991)

What exactly are Guns trying to do here? It’s hard to tell. My suspicion is that they thought this tune was casually nodding at those messy Stones songs that made Exile On Main Street such a raggedy-assed joy. The problem is that nothing – really nothing – comes together here. The band sound like they’re more interested in forgetting the whole thing, downing tools and rolling a big fat one. I for one would have been 100 per cent behind that idea.

You can say it is a b-side but it’s better than that jackass review!
