I know for all us long time GNR fans we are used to hearing all these songs. One of the promos they had a girl saying she was 14 and just got into GNR would love to see if this band is reaching out to a new generation of rock fans that may not have known about them before.

Seems like they're struggling with the mix/recording to me a bit again.

What would it for you not to like something?

I am very critical of this band, but I always have something nice to say, just like I have tonight.

You have a very homer approach to this band.  Not everything is Disney pal

How about you do you?

And let pilferk do pilferk?

sound good?

Great.  beer

Jarmo... gonna need the like button, get on it... thanks!

For once I somewhat agree with him. Tight and cool as fuck but what is the big fuss about some 30-year-old record. Why the small venue now.

But let's be patient and something might happen peace

1) It's the fucking Apollo. It's a LEGENDARY venue.

2) It DOES acknowledge AFD 30, whether it's up to some peoples standards of how that SHOULD be done or not is irrelevant

3) It gets FANS (and it seems like mostly fans) up close and personal

4) Sirius gets a shit ton of good PR (maybe some $$) and...you're all listening to their show, right now.

Lets see how the rest of the night goes. Even if it's "just" a legendary soundboard we get to listen to for years of a "regular" show....which it is so far....we're getting it basically FOR FREE.

Sirius has 30 million subscribers.  Lotta ears

Vocals fell down again.

Someone seriously needs to slap the hand of the guy on the mixing board.

Yeah- this is a big deal, they really should have got the best of the best in.

Anyone else lose the sound on the stream??

Yup, had to reload app.  Then all was well.

So the sound cut on the SiriusXM stream as well?

That means there will be a gap in the bootleg..
Never cut out for me
Ah good you did say on twitter you're recording right?
I am recording it straight from my radio but I have no idea how to transfer it to be able to share.
And I may have spoke too soon. My radio just cut out for a few seconds searching for a signal at the end of Yesterdays and into Coma.

From the radio to what? Laptop? Tape/CD?
I have an old school Stiletto. It records straight to the radio itself, like an iPod of sorts. It's portable.

The vocals are good....the mix keeps changing a little bit here and there.

They get it dialed in perfect, and then someone turns it down a smidge, and then it comes back up.

Ah, fuck.

the Stilettos encrypt audio, I think.  Can't pull it off directly.

You'd have to literally run a line out of the headphone jack into, say, a laptop mic jack, hit play and rip it like that.

Could it be a compression thing. In the beginning of Coma, and right now in the quiet parts, Axl's vocals are very high in the mix. Once the guitars kicks in, it all levels out.

I taped Paris 92 from the tv by putting a fisher price tape recorder next to the speaker and hitting record. At one point you could hear my parents coming home and asking what was going on over the top of it!
