Stadium tour of the US.  That's rather bold.  They've got something more to tell us.

We could talk through this, new music or what I'm going with, full on reunion.  Reserve the right to change my mind but that's the direction I'm leaning.

We'll go to St Louis but I'm in the cheap seats so no rush to buy tickets.

It's been mostly festivals in the Nordics lately. Stavanger being the odd one last year. Sweden Rock in 22, Copenhell and Tons Of Rock this year.

Theres 6 days off between Oslo and Glasgow. And its right around the mid summer celebrations.
A stadium gig here wouldnt be that crazy of a idea.

It is.

The rumor going around for months is that GN'R will play Glastonbury

Going from Oslo to Finland and then all the way to the UK means a lot of kilometers that the gear and everyone involved would have to travel.

It worked well in 2017 because there was a show in Stockholm. So you just take the day ferry and arrive in Finland that same day. But then we flew to Prague after.
2018 there was a show in Tallinn which fit because it was between Moscow and Oslo.

I forgot about Glastonbury.
Did the whole band really take the ferry to Finland in 2017 or just the crew?
Maybe you cant answer that and that ok too. Smiley

I think the band had their plane...

We took the ferry to Turku, and then to Hämeenlinna from there.

GNR twitter announced the tour just 4 hours ago?  That's like 6 hours after it appeared on their site.  And the email announcement went out 3 hours after the site.  Guess it doesn't matter, tickets aren't are sale yet.

Interesting venues, hitting Knoxville (Thompson) and Lexington (Rupp) and then Nashville. All those venues are much smaller than normal for them. They might fit 20K into Thompson. Rupp will be a shit show. They have all benches on the bleachers and they are packed tight! I’ve seen shows at both places. Go to Knoxville if you can. I haven’t been to the Nashville venue but I think it’s their minor league baseball field. Glad to see them hitting a few out of the normal spots. Oddly enough, I didn’t see Atlanta. Obviously, it’s all based on what’s available.

Two things are most likely already set in stone :

- the shows will be rock solid, as they have been for 7 years now

- we could all make the setlist right now and nail it, with perhaps a few exceptions (duff's song, some cover)

Appreciate the tip about Rupp.  Never been there so might pass on Lex.  Geodis in Nashville is the new soccer stadium.  From pics I've seen and similar stadiums I've been in, Geodis should be cozy with great sightlines from any seat.

Trying to get tix for St. Louis, but Ticketmaster only lets me view by section, not individual seat.  Is that normal for Busch Stadium or is this a glitch.  Every other concert ticket I've bought on TM I was able to view single seats.   Huh

I don't know why I was concerned.  Prices seem very reasonable for what I'm looking for.  We'll probably grab ours tomorrow.

Of course this is great news, but c'mon, release a new album guys

Two things are most likely already set in stone :

- the shows will be rock solid, as they have been for 7 years now

- we could all make the setlist right now and nail it, with perhaps a few exceptions (duff's song, some cover)

I wonder if we get more UYI&II based songs in the sets with the box set that just came out.

Duff should really start doing 14 Years, I'd love to see that.

June 17 at Copenhell Festival in Denmark is going to be interesting. On the same day, Billy F. Gibbons (feat. Matt Sorum) is also scheduled to perform...

It's just a big brown lawn close to some roman ruins... the place is really big, but it's an open field and it doesn't have generally speaking a good acustic.  rofl I don't know if the golden circle sold out, try here https://www.ticketone.it/event/guns-n-roses-circo-massimo-16673236/

Got my tix for Busch Stadium. Something historically enjoyable about having tix to see GN'R in STL.

As a Cards fan, though, it feels like somebody got their chocolate in my peanut butter! Smiley

Fourth time seeing GN'R, unless you count Velvet Revolver, in which case this'll be concert 4.5!

Peanut butter and chocolate.  Cheesy Felt that way when I got Dead tickets with my GNR tickets.  It's going to be a great summer in St Louis.  Cool
