Now we know why Slash (and Axl) were in that studio in Oslo in June..

«After Slash invited Lovato to sing on that record and their duet was a success, “I told her, ‘Hey, if you ever need me to put some guitar on something, just let me know and I'll do it!’ And so she hit me back about two weeks, three weeks later, and said she's got this song that she's doing a remake of and asked if I'd put some guitar on that. [Guns N’ Roses] did a show in Norway and I had a day off, so I found a cool engineer and studio in Norway and just put the guitars on there. It's amazing how fast it came out.”

This begs the question - Is Axl going to be one of the guest singers on the new album?

I’m guessing Axl just tagged along and that’s a great testament to their good relationship these days!

Because Slash clearly stated that this particular studio session was for Demi Lovato’s remake of a song that got released last week.

My wishlist includes:
Billy Idol, Danzig, Steven Tyler, Stevie Wonder, Lzzy Hale, Dorothy, Mick Jagger, Corey Taylor, Glenn Hughes, Brandi Carlile, Ayron Jones, Ian Thornley, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Michael Monroe, Rod Jackson (from Snakepit 2nd encarnation)...

I wanna hear him branch out more, it's always fun when he pushes himself so:

Miley Cyrus
Stormzy
George Clinton
Bootsy Collins
Eminem
Dr Dre
Lizzo
Christina Aguilera

and some more rock based ones:

Skin (Skunk Anansie)
Brody Dalle
Eddie Vedder
Liam Gallagher
Corey Taylor
Mick Jagger

Slash is usually pretty good about including "wild cards" into things like this. I'd love to hear someone like Halsey add her vocals to a bluesy rock song.

I’ve read that this will be a blues album. That’s really cool because it’s Slash’s base as a guitarist and exploring his Afro American roots as well

First track with ADCC frontman was really nice! I love the concept of a blues album with great guests!!

And why is this topic not engaging more people in here??

Yes, the single is doing really well!
2.1 Million views in 2 weeks.

For comparison, The General came out a month ago and is only up to 1.5 Million views.
