Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived.
Picard

That's too fucking optomistic...............how's this for "time" my Star Trek loving friend?.........."Time is the fire in which we burn".............(the author of this quote REALLY likes the nexus................... yes)

Yet another dedication to my old friend UI.........

"A boar does not wear out easily, but a lion
will overpower it when the two face off
over a trickling spring up in the mountains
they both want to drink from. The boar
pants hard, but the lion comes out on top"

The beauty of the written word is that people can draw their own conclusions.........their own interpretations........they can "read between the lines" of what someone has written and come up with an entirely different point of view than what the "author" had intended.....................

Does this mean that the reader is wrong?
Of course not..............the readers' point of view is just as valid as that of the authors'....................that's the "beauty" of it all................................ Wink

Anyway.............I frequently come across "quotes"..........and I think to myself......."this is perfect for_______________"(whoever/whatever)........

So I post the quote here in this thread (if I feel it's good enough) with my own interpretation stamped on it............and to add another level to what I'm saying I usually leave it up to the reader to find their own point of view as well......................"make of it what you will"...........again that's the beauty of the written word.........

Seldom are the quotes I post intended to be used in the manner in which they are....................

Depending on my interpretation of it........the context in which I post it.......and the readers' point of view..........a quote takes on an entirely new dimension........
