My favorites are:
 1. Thriller' by Michael Jackson (Sorry, but you can't f*ck with Thriller.)
 2.  Jeremy' by Pearl Jam (I know Jarmo agrees with me on this)
3. Californication' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Love the video game concept)
3. Stan' by Eminem (Don't laugh, it actually was a very good video which actually told a story
4. Losing My Religion' by REM. (The symbolism runs rampade in here)

What does everyone else like?

3.- Queen - I want to break free  (cool concept)
4.- Bon jovi - Living In Sin (yeah i hate jovi but a good video  yes)
5.- Enigma - Return to Inocence (words can't describe it)

I would post at number one November Rain, but ...  Roll Eyes

I forgot about this one. People need to stop making fun of Micheal. He is way more talented then any of them are and are gonna be.

Also Add to my list:

Metallica-Enter Sandman
Faith No More- Epic
NOFX-  Thorn in your eye (So simplistic but awesome)
Micheal Jackson- Smooth Criminal

Why are you reading this?

« Reply #4 on: October 25, 2003, 04:36:45 PM »

Weezer - Keep Fishin' (You can't go wrong with the muppets)
Buddy Holly (The editing/digital splicing job Spike Jonze did on this is   still astoun ding today).

Queen - The show must go on (It's only a sucession of clips from old video, but agian a good editing job. They were even so kind to include bits of some quite rare videos)

Michael Jackson - All 'thriller' and 'bad' era videos (raised the bar for video making)

Metallica - Turn the page
Smashing Pumpkins - Try, try try (full length version)
Prodigy - Smack my bitch up (All of the above are Jonas Ackerlund's work - controversial, but with substance)

David Bowie - 'Life on Mars' promo (simple but effective)

Rolling Stones - 'Love is strong' (a technical marvel)
                       - Sympathy for the devil' (form 'Rock n' roll circus' - great    performance video).
Radiohead - Paranoid Android
Foo Fighters - Learn to Fly (its a laugh, innit?)
Prince - Purple Rain
Eminem - 'Without me'
Pink floyd - 'Another Brick in the wall' (for the animated bits)
Janes Addiction - 'Been caught stealing' (how DID that dancer get his ankle behind his head?)

Quote
Crazy - Aerosmith - anyone that has seen it knows what i'm on about

Oh yes!

Other good 'T and A' videos

Madonna - 'Beautiful Stranger'
Christina Aguilera - Dirrty
Goldfrapp  - 'Twist'
Britney Spears - 'Crazy'
50 Cent - 'Pimp' (uncut version)

Okay, that's enough lowering of the tone for now. Please accept my apologies if I have opened up a new and deeply distasteful can of worms.

yeah i didnt know they did a video for this either, but its on the bon jovi "crossroads" the videos vhs

this song describes bon jovi's biggest problem, on just about every cd they have a "dry county" type song, a song that kicks ass but for some reason the band, record label, whomever over looks it and never releases it as a single

they are an extremely accomplished and popular band, but i just think if they released songs like "dry county" etc it would help remove some of the "hair band" or "arena rock" stigma the band has.

live version is awesome!
