the patience solo is pretty easy..

well now that I think about it the Patience solo must be the easiest GNR solo around!! yes
its not fast, its melodic (u can hum it yes) and its pretty straightforward

November Rain? 32nd notes at 85bpm? Yeah....real easy.

practice 1 week and you'll get it...

GnR have no real hard solos
Hmmm...ok, I have a couple of questions...

First question: how long have you been playing?
Second question: could you post a clip of yourself playing this?
Third question: what exactly do you think is hard?

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference.  His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked. ~ Izzy Stradlin

1. 2,5 years
2. Don't know how to record and post it...
3. For Example some Metallica Solos like Creeping Death or Seek & Destroy

Dude... no one believes that you can play it easily... sure... I mean, I have been playing 7 years and I still regard that as a 'hard' solo... I can play it sure... but... it's still a hard solo.

You better post or you will be branded a liar here.

To be honest - if you think that nv funeral march is easy after a couple of years plaing; you're either lying, or a very talented guitarist.

Patience is easy to play well, as is KOHD. So fine.

Estranged isn't easy, you've got to be taking the piss. I can play it - I couldn't after a year or so. You've got to be realistic here.

The two pre-solo's to SCOM are pretty easy, but the tone took me a while to get good....

There are 10 times harder solos out there. Maybe NV is not easy, but hard? I dont think so Wink
And Estranged solo isnt that hard, NV is way harder..

End of nightrain is probably the hardest to play, unless I'm missing something.

One in a million is not difficult at all... GNR doesnt have too many difficult songs.. Maybe perfect Crime, Garden of eden, Dont damn me.. Thats about it

Well yeah, it involves some A dorian combined with the A blues scale and stuff and I still cant get it right till the end... Most of the times I improvise on that one ok
