1. Concert for Bangladesh by George Harrison  and Friends (1971)
2. Creme in London, May 2005
3. Tom Petty, Last DJ

I don't buy movies, what  is the point? You watch them once and  that is it. Concerts I watch over  and over.

I watch movies over and over.  Especially comedies.  Nothing like curling up with a glass of wine and watching Zoolander for the 150th time.

Last DVD I bought was Brokeback Mountain.

A film that is not worth watching more than once usually isn't worth watching at all. The exceptions are films with a twist, suspense films... But that does not make them good movies, it just means that they have a good twist, that you didn't expect that the butler did it. If I'm watching a film on my own, if it is good enough I will often rewind. Like a child that rewinds his favourite scenes, I guess. I do it all the time.

The second or third time of watching is when I tend to get the most out of a film, now at least.

I feel like that aswell.  I find that If I dont like the movie, I will just stop halfway through.  But if I do like it I'll find myself watching it in excess of three times.  I have seen Donnie Darko about 6 times, this movie has a twist... but I still needed to watch it half a dozen times to get every piece out of the movie, really take it in.

I usually re-wind really good scenes.  Or, if I am watching a suspense or a crime movie or something, I will rewind scenes if I think they have clues in them.  Like I'm trying to figure out the evidence or something.  I was constantly re-winding in "The Village"  Smiley... and I know people are always saying that movie isn't good, but I think its great.  I know it isnt a HORROR, but thats not what it's meant to be... if you want to see a M.N.S movie you cant expect horror, but a damn good movie none the less.

Sorry - thats my rant... Tongue

The Village.. First time I saw that, I must have rewound over ten times. The scene with Joaquin's long dialogue (why must you lead...) that brilliant filmed scene when the monsters come into town and Bryce Dallas Howard is waiting for Joaquin... Ivy's 'my sister cried a lot'. I figured that film out, kind of, but that didn't bother me at all. The twist is the last reason to go and see that movie.

Exactly!!!  I rewound it over and over and over.  I also liked the part where they first discover the skinned pigs.  I couldnt re-wind that bit but because the flies' noise was so annoying.  I rewound the meeting scene and when what was in the boxes was being displayed.  I cant say I quite figured that film out to the T... but that was its purpose I think.

Well, yes. But, if you're looking for a real bargain, and you don't already have it, there are a few stores selling The Matrix Experience/The Matrix Collection or whatever you want to call it for ?19.99. That's the ten disc bastard. And I thought that my Alien Quadrilogy for twent pounds was a bargain.  drool

I also got my Godfather trilogy for about twenty five quid, which I thought was quids in. The other week though I saw it being sold for ?15! Fifteen fucking pounds! For two of the greatest films ever made, an all right third outing, and the bonus disc!
