GUNS SILENCED
GUNS N'ROSES have postponed their entire European tour because guitarist BUCKETHEAD has suffered "internal haemorrhaging", NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

An official spokesperson for the tour contacted NME.COM this afternoon to reveal that the European shows, which include a series of UK dates in June, have been pulled.

The reason cited is illness to lead guitarist Buckethead, who has been forced to undergo medical tests in the US to find the cause of his internal haemorrhaging. As a result of the illness, he has been unable to undertake rehearsals with the band.

A statement has been issued by the band's agent, which reads: "It is with great regret that I must notify you that the upcoming Guns N'Roses June tour of the UK and Europe is cancelled.

"Lead guitarist Buckethead has undergone extensive medical tests to determine the cause of internal haemorrhaging, a condition that has caused him to recently be absent from band rehearsals. Management are waiting to be informed of his prognosis.

"Discussions are currently taking place to determine when the tour will be re-scheduled and I will update you further on this aspect in due course."

The affected shows are at:

Nurnberg Rock Im Park (June 1)
Nunburgring Rock Am Ring (3)
Berlin Waldbuhne (5)
London Docklands Arena (9-10)
Glasgow SECC (12)
Manchester Evening News Arena (13)
