I was told today at the box office that there is an 11pm curfew tonight.  If GNR starts at 7:30, this might mean song cuts to the set list...?

Just sharing the info.

See you all there.  I'm in the Pit!

They play for 3 hours...if they start at 7:30 they'll be done at 10:30. With the opener starting at 6:25 GNR will probably go on around 8:00 and end at 11:00 still getting their full set in.

Let's agree to disagree Smiley
It's definitely not classic GN'R style but it's fresh and way better than the last American lithos.

Is nobody posting the setlists anymore because everyone assumes its the same or nobody wants to? the last few shows have been this way are people actually losing interest in these shows on here specifically?

From the main site.

Setlist: It?s So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Chinese Democracy, Welcome To The Jungle, Double Talkin? Jive, Better, Estranged, Live And Let Die, Rocket Queen, You Could Be Mine, You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory/New Rose, This I Love, Civil War, Yesterdays, Coma, Band Intros, Slash Solo (Godfather)/Sweet Child O' Mine, Used To Love Her, My Michelle, Wish You Were Here/Layla/November Rain, Black Hole Sun, Only Women Bleed (instrumental)/Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Nightrain
Encore: Jam (Melissa)/Don't Cry, Whole Lotta Rosie, Jam (Waiting On A Friend)/Patience, The Seeker, Paradise City

Used To Love Her and My Michelle have been played after Sweet Child at almost every show on this leg.

Sorry has been played only three times on this leg. Otherwise the setlists have been similar to the second part of the euro leg.

Not a complaint, just an observation. The setlist is huge nowdays. I love it!

There is a second Panther liho too.

Not sure if this is the same pic on a tee as the litho you're talking about.
Whatever this animal is supposed to be, it looks like it has antlers  Huh

In the great list of things titled 'things I would like to see GNR release that they never will' is definitely a book containing pictures of all the lithos. Seems such a waste for them not to be properly documented and appreciated.....

.....even strange creatures like this!

I think it's this.....which does make the litho a little more thoughtful and cool actually.

It could be like the London UK Lithograph/Tee shirt image deal, the Tee shirts showed a Jack the Ripper/Slash image with Guitar, the Lithograph showed that plus the streets of Whitechaple (not far from the show) and was a whole lot nicer looking, if only they reproduced the poster image on the shirt, then I'd probably have bought that, instead of the blood bullet casing tour dates one ....

Fine by me.  i didn't get either of these at my show last July.  Hope to hear them in October this year

Sadly, my show last July was the first one to get this "oh, woe is me" piece of shit tune.  Please god, don't make me sit through it twice.

I actually like Sorry and think it is one of the best songs on CD. It is very powerful live.

On the "woe is me" theme, one could include from CD:

Better
Shacklers
This I love
Maddy
Street of Dreams
Scraped
IRS
There was a time

Shit, it's almost the whole CD. So don't pick on Sorry!  hihi

Sorry sounded great on the Apollo theater broadcast, but before the reunion I always thought it was one of the worst songs they performed and made for a good bathroom break.

I'm a fan of the song Sorry too.

What I really enjoy about them playing it on the NITL tour is that as many times as everyone and their brother denies that it was directed at a certain lead guitarist who rejoined the band, IMO it's really fun as a fan to deny the denials and watch said guitarist playing the song we for the longest time all speculated it was about.  Lips Sealed

My Michelle is one of my favorite GnR songs.

I swear to holy hell they must somehow know I'm in the audience, because they skip it at my shows all the time. And this dates back to the 90's. I've seen GnR live 15 times, in various incarnations, now.  I've heard that song live exactly 3 times....

Umm....pretty hard to spot humour in your post! How on earth could anyone get that you were being humourous  from those words?!

I'd wager I wasn't the only one to miss the humour in someone listing a load of songs they don't like but really do, unbeknown to the reader!

I'm of the view that the set could only be improved by more chinese material. Wonder why TWAT was off the cards after Dublin? Too difficult to nail vocally?

He said he actually likes Sorry, "don't pick on Sorry!" AND used the laughing smiley.  I don't know how much clearer he could have been.

Just because CD is a woe is me album doesn't mean it's a bad album or that people don't like it.

Ok! I was thinking 'woe is me' referred to the way the crowd feel about hearing CD tracks, but we're talking lyrical content, right?

In that case-yeah, Sorry really is a 'woe is me' moment! But then so is a laege amount of all their material really, CD or otherwise.

Shit, it's almost the whole CD. So don't pick on Sorry!  hihi

Come off it- those songs are incredible! This I Love I'm not too fussed about, but the others......

I still think Better was one of the highlights of the shows I saw.

You totally misunderstood. I never said they were bad songs. I like them all. I was being humorous and speaking directly to theme. Get a sense of humor.

I agree about Better. Very powerful live.

TWAT has been a setlist rarity since it was first played in 2006 but even then with the 06-07 lineup it was only played twice!
They have played it on almost every tour since then. But only like couple times a year.
The tune sure seems like its super demanding vocal wise.

I actually like Sorry and think it is one of the best songs on CD. It is very powerful live.

On the "woe is me" theme, one could include from CD:

Better
Shacklers
This I love
Maddy
Street of Dreams
Scraped
IRS

I've been busy with other stuff and catching up now Roll Eyes

Watching full concert now but what is that tall building behind the stage? It looks like maybe a hotel but could also just be a residential building. Just can't see that being only offices for the arena.

The location can be very good or very bad if you don't like the events they have there.
