Cool man........almost done watching this....it's great!

Better is so fucking good at this concert.

Only thing is that he had his camera down during Ron's Grinch song.

But other than that, flawless bootleg.  :)

the highest completed is 4.74 , you are at 99.99 percent because of your text file missing inside the torrent file , but you are not helping seed

NO flickin she is helping seed, she is sharing the 99.9% she has so she is fine.

sooner or later she will pick up Tb text file and it will show her at 100%

I am doing the best I can, something is different in his DVD 2 folder and I am uploading at 100kbps to the torrent
It isn't the text file, that is completed.

There is something different between what's on Dime and what's on the PC tracker.  I downloaded a few mb from Dime and then went to PC to download and it wouldn't recognise those mb's when hash checking.  Not sure how that is but something may have happened during someone's rip to the pc.

Yes, something is different in my DVD 2 folder than what TB has in his.  I ripped it from the DVD twice even to make sure nothing wrong happened the 1st time around.  The 1st DVD hash checked fine.

If you have an account on the PC tracker maybe you should try and hash check with sjgotnitro's torrent to see if everything matches up.? If so then something went wrong with Timebomb's rip, which does happen from time to time.? If so he can delete the torrent on Dime now and re upload it.  That way everyone gets a good copy.

Even if you don't have an account at PC you can still try hashing with sjgotnitro's torrent just to see.

You guys should check it to make sure first.

Bandita:  you need to get the torrent file from PC tracker, load it up in your client and direct to the folder that has your files in it, let the client check it and it should tell you if you have the same files.

I hash checked against you and my DVD 1 didnt match which is odd because that one checked with TB's just fine but my DVD 2 checked against the one on the PCT.  Opposite of my issue with TB's which didn't check with DVD 2.

Both of them at 99.999% but I don't have an account on PCT, jemin sent me the file to check.

I will keep seeding on Dime though, eventually I will dl whatever I may be missing from there.
Very odd.

K, I understand,

Quick question regarding comps, a bit off topic

How do I make my dvd player on my computer Region Free?

I have an Aus computer, and it plays Pal, so is there something I can do to make it pal +ntsc or just region free?
cheers in advancd

Your PC should have no trouble playing NTSC DVD's, as far as I am aware most DVD drives play both PAL and NTSC.

As for region free you should not need to worry about that because bootlegs are usually region-free.

If you do need region-free software have a look at this site http://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=25#25 they have some good tools listed. I have used "DVD region-free" it worked but messed around with Nero so I had to uninstall it, have heard good things about "AnyDVD".

Once the download finishes it should automatically start seeding, unless you have changed the default seed settings. Which client are you using?

There is something different between what's on Dime and what's on the PC tracker.? I downloaded a few mb from Dime and then went to PC to download and it wouldn't recognise those mb's when hash checking.? Not sure how that is but something may have happened during someone's rip to the pc.

I know we had both our main foldesr labeled the same but the sub folders were diffrent, I left mine as dvd decrypter labeled them from original and Timebomb changed his to dvd 1 and dvd 2.  I tried checking mine gainst his on dime and then relized this. Could this be the reason we had that small diffrence. Mine went right to Dl also when i went to try  and seed there, but it turned out it was the folder issue because my subfiolders were diffrent. Everything thing else was the same.

I don't think that was the issue because when I hash checked against you I made new folders as they were labeled on the PCT and then copied the DVD files into them.

That's a good habit to get into.  You don't want to have your hard drive crammed full of stuff because the more full it is the more prone it will be to "fucking up".  You just don't want to risk losing EVERYTHING on your hard drive.  My hard drive is around 300 GB and I always try to have 100GB of free space just to make myself feel better. I've been slacking lately though and it's down below 50GB free.  I have tons of music on it but I always make back-ups of everything because "shit" does happen.

Plus, once you burn shit to DVD's as back-ups, you can always go back later and just burn from the DVD onto a CD if you want, or even put it back on your HDD later.  I don't even want to talk about how many blank DVD's I bought this past year... it would probably make me sick to think about.

I keep a second hard drive slaved to my 1st that I just put downloads on.  This way the stuff doesn't get mixed up with my programs and it isn't cramming up the drive I have Windows on.  Also saves me the trouble of having to defragment the drive non stop from constant downloading. True that you shouldn't keep your regular HDD full because it really slows down your PC and leaves it prone to things happening like a crash. They are really pretty cheap these days and if you are good with computers it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to hook it up.

I know what you mean about blank DVDs!!  Thank God for Amazon and super saver free shipping! ;D

Please help! I'm new to using torrents. I am downloading the dec 20th show on Dime but was wondering what kind of sppeds people are getting? My d/load speed averages about 25KB/s and my upload speed seems about the same if not higher.

I've read guides and tried to reduce my upload speed to increase d/load speed but my d/load speed decreases too!

I have a 1 meg broadband connection.

I've also noticed that my browser speed has decreased alot too.

Is there anything I can do or is the slow speed because this is a new torrent? :'(

give it time. i see only 4 seeds right now. the more people that seed the faster the download will be. i am currently ripping the dvds to my hardrive i will then join the seeding. this is a 7gb download so itll take awhile for people to complete.

I have tried them all too, to no avail.  I have a 10mb connection but I have to reduce the upload/download speed because Optimum Online has a nasty habit of capping the lines of those who are using too much bandwidth (as I found out the hard way).  Right now on this torrent there are only 2 seeds, TB and myself, and over 200 leechers so it isn't going to move very fast yet.

Your browser is slow because you are using your bandwidth on the torrent.

Damn, they had deleted my accounts in both Dime and PCT, I hadn't used them in a while...  :crying:

Only one from those three trackers I could get registered was the gunsroses.us, but since I am new user I have to wait like 48 hours that I can start downloading this show, am I right?

The download on the torrents are slow, I dont want to seem like im complaining, but theres not enough seeders.

Could someone, anyone who has the show, megaupload it in 4-5 bits, so more people can download it, then help seed it for others.

I know this is asking a bit much, but if someone has some free time, and want to help out the gnr community, we would all be greatful,
and would all benefit alot quicker
thanks in advancd

cheers.

You've asked 100 times. Not that many people have it yet. I shipped it out Saturday, it takes a couple days to ship. International were shipped yesterday, therefore it's going to be like a week until they get it.

Just have some patience : ok:

That is strange.  Somehow I'm thinking your folders might not be exactly the same. But that % does not add up to that.

The Dime, PCT and Tracker

All have the same main folder

12.20.2006 Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal City, CA (VisualDepth)

The dime

Sub folders are labeled as

dvd1 and dvd2

The PCT and Tracker Subfolders are

gnr2006-12-20d1

gnr2006-12-20d2

Are you sure for wherever you are trying to help seed you have you folders exactly matching.

Hopefully Jemin or jarl see this thread and give us some help of what might be going on.

Hey pat and I saw you over there trying to help me seed, I really appreciate it alot.

I had a few issues too.  What I did was download the setup from the torrents and then just move the files I ripped into the folders.  It still only put me at 99.99 but I was able to finish it up fast.  Dime has a lot of seeders right now anyway.  I could use some help on the gunsnroses tracker though.

I don't have enough disc space at this moment.  >:( The screen shots looks great so I think it's time to burn the other stuff from my hard drive on dvds...

Thank God for Amazon and super saver free shipping! ;D

I'm jealous Bandita.  Almost every time I go to Best Buy I look at external hard drives and they really aren't that expensive at all.  I think I can get like a 500 GB for a couple hundred dollars... I don't know if that's a good price or not but it sounds good to me.

EDIT:  I forgot to thank everyone for this DVD by the way... how rude of me.  Thanks for everyone that pitched in on the purchase of it.  I'll throw in some money on the next thing we all get together and buy because I'm still playing "catch up" right now on bills after the holiday season.  BUT THANKS EVERYONE FOR THIS!!!!!!

I donwloaded the files from Dime to 100% then copied them to a new folder to help on PCT but I only had 99.9%.? Something is definitely not right but I believe it is just the IFO files and the navigation files, so all should be well.? At any rate I have both completed from both the trackers and should be able to compare them to see if there is any noticeable errors.

Going to go through the same process on the US tracker just to check.

There are some pixelation errors in the DVD.. for example, right before The Blues starts... Is it from the DV tape, the author or bad DVD copying???

Could be a dropped frame, happens during the transfer to the pc.

You should try deleting the torrent file only, not what you downloaded, re-download the torrent file, direct it to the folder where you have the download and let it hash check again.  Clear your temp, cache and cookies as well and then re-login to whatever tracker you are downloading on.

You really shouldn't leave so little space on your HDD free though.

Delete the torrent file (the file you downloaded from the tracker.)  Do not delete anything in your folders that you have downloaded.  I use Utorrent so I am not sure how Bit Tornado works but it shouldn't really matter.

I would then just do some cleanup on your PC.  Like clearing the cache, temp and cookies in the Control Panel.  Reboot, then log back into the tracker and grab the torrent file again.  Now when you open it up in Bit Tornado direct it to the folder where your partial download is and it should hash check again and be able to continue the download where you left off.

You can PM me if you need any other help.

Just finished dowloading and the show looks amazing but just have on problem though.. Im playing it in my NERO player and every time a chapter or song ends it takes back to the menu to select the next song.. I mean it doesnt run nonstop one chapter/song after another like all files usually do..

Is there anything wrong with this download and is any of you having this same problem?  Its really annoying cause you have to click on the next song when it takes you back to the menu after each chapter ends.

New to burning but do I have to do anything to the files prior to burning??

I have burnt both discs with nero burning rom 6 with no problems at all, except the couple of times that it returns to the menu after certain chapters, which everyone seems to be getting.

To burn with nero burning rom select DVD-VIDEO when making a new compilation then place all the .ifo .bup and .vob files into the "VIDEO_TS" folder already created by nero. Than you should be right to burn. I recommend burning at 4x speed to ensure playback on most stand alone players.

You do not need to do anything to the files before burning.?

A massive thanks goes to Cotis, timebomb, and everyone that contributed and helped get this show out, it is absolutely awesome. : ok:

Well yes, it is possible. Check the folder you're downloading the show to, open any .VOB-file that contains something.. at least VLC-player can play them. So there you go, a preview : ok:
