"Fall to Pieces"

No one has heard this song besides RCA, and the band.
And the few people that were able to see them at the Roxy...my question is this...
Is this song going to establish them? I've heard so much about this song and how the album is going to be great. I believe it.
They (rumors and common sense) say this is supposed to be the 2nd single around August/July.
So if anyone here has heard this song and recalls it from Roxy hook me up on is this song for real or not?
I can't wait I mean I can't wait to hear the album and this song in particular!!!

I am SOOO with you on this... i am surprised parts of the song haven't leaked yet, but i am fucking dying to hear it. I'm such a sappy sucker for ballad type songs, and the last time i specifically remember a band discussing how proud they were of a song was with Estranged.
i know the highlight of their show for me, is hearing this song.
oh, also, kick ass title!

This is my least anticapated song on the record.
I loathe the power ballad..

don't worry, i don't think there will be too much "power" behind it, considering they need to maintain their "dangerous" reputation...

I agree and the November Rain comparisons turn me off as well. But on teh other hand it may not be your typical cheesy Power ballad. I thinbk Scott has too much musical integrity for that. Guess we will have to wait and see.

That bothers me to the last fiber of my being. I heard that song
reincarnated with Don't Cry, Madagascar and The Blues and I sure a hell don't need to hear it again.
Let's hope the Weiland factor nulifies the obvious.

when you hear the november rain comparisons, it because its main part is a powerful melody that is reminisent of the end of november rain, (the don't you think you need somebody part) . The guitar is classic slash, and most likely the closest to old gnr of them all

i think it will be more Estranged than November Rain (which, don't kill me here, i don't understand why Axl favors over all the others... it's just a little hammy)
power ballads are the SHIT!!
ETA: Falcon, you better ease off on the Madagascar bashing.. i don't want to have to initiate smackdown!

I'm talking about fall to pieces, its not a real power ballad, its got a kinda slow part but the song is pretty heavy and its not all sappy love stuff

November Rain has moments of cheesiness, but Don't Cry is classic and Slash's solos are what make these songs so brilliant, to me anyway.

How the hell does NR have cheesy moments
. It's a song no other band in history has the talent to make. And yeah don't cry is classic

Don't get me wrong, I guess it comes down to personal taste, but to me NR is a huge power ballad that is only saved by Slash's beautiful guitar solos, but I still love the song. I just prefer deeper songs like Estranged.
