I was just wondering what you guys do when you're trying to play Izzy's part on "Paradise City" during the verse part. Do you just use alternate picking on the power chords? Because it seems too fast for me to play any other way.

Well, Slash just plays single notes for the whole of the riff (except the obvious chord stabs), and when Axl is singing Izzy is just playing single notes, the octave of what Slash is playing. When their playing the riff and Axl isn't singing, Izzy is playing the top two notes of the standard power chord, i.e. the 5th, and the octave, basically double stops so you can pretty much play that just laying your fingers across the two strings.
So basically it is alternate picking (or can be) but it isn't normal power chords.

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference. His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked.

Yeah i was gonna say there not power chords at all. the riffs are normally played an octave apart. izzy usuing a bit less gain but more attack on the higher octave on the D string i believe. and slash using the low E and A with the ballsy tone.

I have another question, but what does Izzy play at the end solo? Im getting mixed signals here on Izzys part in the song, some people say he does a G power chord through the verses, and even he said that the end solo was him on a few simple power chords and Slash going nuts, so what does he do, is his part in the entire song power chords?

The ending of PC has Izzy playing powerchords, if you really want to hear what he's playing then you should listen to it with headphones

Izzy is the guitar panned hard left of AFD. Try turning the balance to the left channel to focus on what he's playing.
