Freddie is Queen. Paul may have a good voice, but Freddie is the heart and soul of queen.

No John Deacon to me this reunion is bullshit with out him. He did write their biggest hit Another One Bites the Dust. Its sooooooo dissappointing he aint a part of this new Queen shit.

That was their biggest American hit. Not their biggest hit anywhere else. Also he chose not to go, it's not like he was banned.

I'm not a big Queen fan, but if this tour comes to Australia, I know I'll go along.
Who cares if they're doing it for the money, I was too young to see Queen in their prime with Freddie, so this is as close I'll get.

I do think they all do it for the fans, but I don't like that they call themselves as Queen, even if Deacon isn't present with them and also Freddie for obvius reasons, I do know I'll defenitely going to see them In September  peace

New editions to the setlist:

Under Pressure in Manchester (4th May) and Another One Bites The Dust in Birmingham (6th May)

Under Pressure sounds great Brian and Roger sang the vocals. Kinda seemed like they said lets just both sing any of it.

Paul Rodgers sang Another One Bites The Dust.

Queen's 'Under Pressure' appeared in the set list last night in Manchester. Replacing 'The Show Must Go On' in the encore, it was the first time it had been played on the tour.

Free's 'Wishing Well' was also played again - it has only recently been added to the set list and looks like staying there.

The full set list was as follows:

Reaching Out
Tie Your Mother Down
I Want To Break Free
Fat Bottomed Girls
Wishing Well
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Say Its Not True
39
Love Of My Life
Hammer To Fall
I?m In Love With My Car
Gtr Solo
Last Horizon
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Radio Ga Ga
Can?t Get Enough
A Kind Of Magic
I Want It All
Bohemian Rhapsody
-----------------------
Under Pressure
All Right Now
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions

Fire and Water For Ireland

Queen + Paul Rodgers rounded up their date European tour in Ireland over the weekend by performing their longest set of the whole trek. The inclusion of the Free classic 'Fire and Water' was a refreshing and welcome surprise to the middle of the well oiled set.

Q+PR now have several weeks off before tackling four huge outdoor shows in July in Portugal, Germany, the UK and Holland.

Dublin and Belfast set List was as follows:

Reaching Out; Tie Your Mother Down; I Want To Break Free; Fat Bottomed Girls; Wishing Well; Another One Bites The Dust; Crazy Little Thing Called Love; Under Pressure; Say Its Not True; 39; Love Of My Life; Hammer To Fall; Feel Like Making Love; Fire And Water; I'm In Love With My Car; Gtr Solo; Last Horizon; These Are The Days Of Our Lives; Radio Ga Ga; Can't Get Enough; A Kind Of Magic; I Want It All; Bohemian Rhapsody

The Show Must Go On; All Right Now; We Will Rock You; We Are The Champions

Launch Radio Networks reports: A live CD and DVD from the European shows that QUEEN & PAUL RODGERS finished last month is on tap for later this year. The band recorded every concert they played, but they only shot one in its entirety, on May 9 in Sheffield, England. Work has begun on listening back to the tapes, which should lead to a live album with the best performances from the tour, and a version of QUEEN's "Fat Bottomed Girls" might come out as a single. No release date has been announced, but the package is expected for later this year.

Rodgers told Launch that he approaches music from a completely different place than the late Freddie Mercury did. "He's classically trained, whereas I come out from blues and soul," Rodgers said. "Our writing styles are different. I tend to go for a very simple lyric with lots of space, he went for quite a wordy approach ? not to say that either one is better or worse, it's just different."

I got a dvd of one of the shows on the tour and its pretty fuckin awsome..Definetly worth checking out..Brian and Rodger sing jsut as many songs and Paul does..Rodger sings Radio-Ga-Ga and a few others..Show opens with Tie Your mother Down..and Freddie sings the first half of Bohemian Rhapsody on the big screen from the live bowl..Then during the middle its like a tribute to him then at the end they all sing together its pretty cool..And they play Alrigth now by pauls old band Free..Good show

Well, what does the new guy sound like? Is his voice similar? Style?
