Would anyone go for this? The new group re-records Killing Time, Rocker and Shadow of Your Love and puts them on a new album. I definitely would!!

I want new songs and Axl can write much better songs than this 3, although Shadow could have made a GN'R album.

I'd like to see an EP/LP of unreleased rare tracks, but I don't want to see them re-recorded by the current lineup... just remastered/cleaned up a little. Something along the lines of:

Shadow of Your Love (yeah fine it was a B-Side but I don't buy many singles)
Jumpin' Jack Flash
Heartbreak Hotel
Ain't Goin' Down
Just Another Sunday
Crash Diet
Sentimental Movie
Too Much Too Soon
Bring it Back Home

and one or two live unreleased covers... this could perk up people's interest for a new album and generate some $$ for the label to help recoup against the cost of recording/promoting CD... hell Nirvana did it with a bloated 3CD set I shelled out 70$ for, why not an EP? Or, if we actually do see CD in the near future, then toss it out a year after, cuz lets face it, even if Axl is planning on releasing three albums, the 2nd one will be delayed also ;P

The versions on the the Hollywood Rose album are fantastic, we don't need a fourth version of each (and 5th version of Shadow of your love)

The HR versions are superb, i always wanted a good version of shadow of your love, live that song sounds awesome but the studio version 'wake up...time to play', is very weak and loses the venom which made the song - thankfully, the HR version, especially Gilby+ Tracii's version is all i'd hoped for.

Good god know.... those songs are so dated... I mean jesus i haven't waited 10 years for a new album just to hear rerecorded okay tunes from 20 years ago.... yes thats how old those tunes are. Axl would be the laughing stock of the music industry if all he could muster up after a decade on an album was rehashed old material... please

just curious why whould u buy that, I personally think its not gonna be able to touch the original.  Slash is a god, no one in the new band can touch his playing ability. Im not trying to be rude, but why buy something u already own?

because not all of us are slash fanboys and think that the new band has great potential and a lot of us know that buckethead can piss on slash's tophat when it comes to shredding the guitar like it needs to be shred in the aforementioned tracks?  Smiley

just a cool listen... smoking we alwasy have original afd?

i'm a big fan of slash, paul mcartney did well 2, but i prefer gnr's live and let die? Smiley
my fav of live and let die is not even the studotrack anymore, the new band kills it imo,

and axl's scream is better than ever headbanger

Hmmm the problem is that those songs sound very 80's..in a good way though, and rearanging them and making them sound more modern would sound shithouse.
