I think that since the shirt design will be set in stone and the shirt will be promote through the board and/or the site, you'll easily sell 100 pieces, the number of votes in the poll is not determining.

I'd love a shirt!

Apologys if someones already come up with that idea

The whole thing will work like this:

1 - Members order shirts and send me money by Paypal.
2 - We reach the amount of orders needed and we reach a deadline.
3 - We order the shirts from the printing company.
4 - Shirts are sent out.

Once we have reached enough votes (at least 80 as far as I'm concerned).

Well, might be the right time to register  Grin  Actually I think you don't even need to open an account to send money.
But yeah, money orders won't be accepted because they're a mess to deal with and I want to keep this as simple as possible. Unless someone is willing to pay me for the job  hihi

Let me correct my own mistake : you DO need an account to send money. So as I said, might be the right time to register.

Do I need a credit card for PayPal or can I use my bank account?

How do I add funds to my PayPal account?

If you have a confirmed bank account, you can add funds to your PayPal account via electronic funds transfer. After you initiate an electronic funds transfer, the funds will become available in your PayPal account within 3-4 business days. You will receive an email confirmation every time you add funds to your account. If you do not wish to add funds to your PayPal account, you may send a PayPal payment using a credit card or Instant (bank account) Transfer.

Note: Members from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, or the U. K. cannot transfer funds from a confirmed U.S. bank account.

Jarmo, I have a question. It may have been asked before, i'm not sure. Do you own the rights for Here Today Gone to Hell? If I'm not mistaken, that was the name of the mini-tour that preceded the Get In The Ring Tour.

If that`d make a problem with axl`s lawyers, he`d be a REAL asshole, and since he isn`t, there won`t be any problems with the rights.

Pandora, Jarmo..since you guys are in charge ( don't know if Christos is still involved) do you already have a quote for the shirts? has it been posted?

I'm just trying to figure out why 125 people were willing to buy a shirt at $15 a month ago and now it seems like 50 of those people are not interested anymore. The only logical reason to this would be if the shirts were to priced above $15, but that doesn't seem to be the case...

Yes we do have a quote for a minimum of 100 shirts, and it's much inferior to $15, but we haven't talked about that yet.
I can't quite figure out either why we suddenly have so few people voting.

But don't you have to get permission to sell something where the name is owned by someone else? Even if Axl or whoever owns the name didn't care if someone sold products using the name, wouldn't you still have to get permission?

As far as we know, there's no copyright on the name "Here today gone to hell".

We're not using the GN'R name or any images related to the band to sell shirts.

That's why there's no GN'R logos, song lyrics or pics of band members on the shirt.
