Current creative plans call for The Undertaker to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXIX.

Meanwhile, the latest issue of Inside Wrestling features Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker on the cover with the headline reading ?SNEAK PEAK? The World Clamors for Lesnar-?Taker At WrestleMania 29!?

Really hope Brock doesn't job to Triple H at Summerslam which he probably will. The concept of Lesnar/Taker next year will just be ridiculous after that point.

Still excepting Punk/Lesnar though, somewhere some time.

Not sure why they're not utilizing Brock as much as possible while they have him. Aside from The Undertaker, HHH, and CM Punk I'd like to see Brock take on The Rock, Jericho and Randy Orton when he returns from suspension.

His contract has a set amount of shows he has to appear on, they'll be saving them untill the new year then you'll probably see him every week leading into the rumble and through onto wrestlemania.

I think it's gone.

CM Punk bringing up Steve Austin on Monday?s RAW has started the speculation about a match at WrestleMania 29 again. Sources insist that Austin will not be wrestling at WrestleMania 29 and if he?s going to wrestle again, it would be at WrestleMania 30. The feeling is WrestleMania 29 will be built around The Rock and Brock Lesnar?s special appearances and Austin won?t return unless he?s the top billed star.

New details are coming out about The Undertaker?s status for WrestleMania 29 and it?s said that The Deadman is not in good shape at all. One thing that wasn?t reported after his WrestleMania match with Triple H this year is that the hip replacement he had a few years back was damaged pretty bad.

There is talk that some of the surgical work he has had done over the past few years is really beat up to the point that he?s back to square one. Taker had been going to see specialists in New York but he is so beat up now that WWE has been flying the doctors to his home in Texas instead.

There is also a lot of talk within WWE that if he does end up doing anything at WrestleMania 29, it likely won?t be a big time physical match like we are used to. As we have noted, there is talk of having Taker work the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant with the idea he can do a few memorable spots before being eliminated.

Right now The Undertaker is not being figured into any major WrestleMania plans internally. The feeling is if he wants to do it and feels like he can do it, WWE will make room for him. It wouldn?t be the first time but it?s possible could see The Undertaker skip a WrestleMania in 2013.

Some people within WWE are under the impression that the ?end of an era? hype from this year?s WrestleMania against Triple H really was the end as far as big time WrestleMania matches for The Undertaker go.

A full year of Punk as champion, who would thought someone would held it that long in the era of PPV's at least once or twice month?

As much as I'd like to see Rock hold title again, it would actually be pretty interesting if Punk made it past the Rumble.

As a loyal fan of the WWF in between 1999-2002, I'm excited at the prospect of The Rock once again holding the WWE title. I'm just as big of a Rock fan than I am of the WWE, it's almost as if he's become bigger than the organisation for me.

My ideal scenario would be The Rock vs Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 29, with The Rock winning the title from Brock. This would come full circle as in 2002 at Summerslam it was the other way round with Brock winning The Rock for the title. And it would also be nice as Rock has yet to win Brock in a PPV match, so with him beating everyone in the business, the WWE should recognise that he hasn't yet defeated Brock, so that would be a nice finally for myself.  Smiley

I DVR Raw every monday and fast forward though every segment that CM Punk is not in.  I think it's complete bullshit that The Rock can just come in part time and they put the belt on him, but at the same time I completely understand how good it is for business.  Doesn't mean I have to like it.  Was never a huge Rock fan, I liked him but I would never consider myself a huge fan of his, same goes for Stone Cold.

This is what I do, mostly. I did like the Kane/Bryan stuff for awhile so I watched that. But Punk is my main draw and has been for a loooong time. Love him with Paul Heyman, though I'm a big Heyman fan. But I do wish they would give a reason as to why he's there with punk. They never really addressed it, at least I never saw it anyway. Its not like Punk needs him to talk like Brock. And... I can't really say Punk is the only thing I watch because I do enjoy every scene AJ Lee is in. Why did they have to put her with Cena though? Booo..but I still watch every scene she is in cuz i seriously dig that crazy chick.  hihi Loved the crazy shit they did with punk, Aj, and bryan. Especially the MITB match, loved that. Hope they put Bryan back in a title picture sometime. I like him. His matches with Punk at ppvs were great this year.

On another note, I watched Survivor Series. I liked it, mostly. I'm a fan of the traditional survivor series matches and was happy with who they chose to give a spotlight too but I seriously hate the way WWE handles the MITB contract. Big Show was layed out by Sheamus, its just fucking retarded Dolph didn't cash it in. If you're not going to have him cash it in, have him go out and someone say no because big show can't do it or something. Address the fucking thing. It seriously pisses me off that every year you get shit like this. fucking address it assholes.  hihi

WWE fans have received mixed messages over the last several months regarding the status of The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29. The latest report indicates that the Dead Man will wrestle but who his opponent will be is now the big mystery.

There is already a lot of buzz about The Undertaker putting up his 20-0 streak at WrestleMania 29. Quite frankly The Undertaker?s streak has become more prestigious in recent years thanks to classics against Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Who will be chosen to challenge the streak is probably the biggest match question heading into WrestleMania 29.

I thought it would be fun to take a look at a few different opponents that could challenge The Undertaker?s streak at the 2013 big WWE event. Now whether any of these wrestlers actually break the streak is another story altogether. But here is a list of the lucky (or unlucky) that could try.

CM Punk - Punk is the obvious choice here due to a number of reasons. The biggest is that he is the biggest WWE superstar currently without a rumored match. The matchup just makes sense. Punk would enter the match with a likely recent loss to The Rock but so what? Between Punk and Heyman are there two better guys out there right now to create interest verbally in a match with The Undertaker? I wouldn?t necessarily call Punk my top choice as their past matches failed to live up to potential in my opinion. But things are different, Punk is a in a much different place, and the two of them certainly would have the potential to steal the show at 29.

Brock Lesnar - Lesnar vs. Undertaker has been in the making now since The Undertaker and Brock had a confrontation at a UFC event back in 2010. As a matter of a fact many believe that the two were working an angle back then that never came to fruition due to Brock?s UFC contract. Lesnar has been silent since defeating Triple H at SummerSlam and what better way to come back and make an impact than by starting a feud with The Undertaker. Technically I don?t know how well a match would be between these guys but I have a feeling that you?d really hit a bit of crossover market here with UFC fans familiar with the ?rivalry? (manufactured or not) between them.

John Cena - Cena is a wild card here and probably one of the least likely to happen but he certainly deserves to be a part of the discussion. There have been talks of a Cena vs. Undertaker WrestleMania match the last couple of years but the return of The Rock has derailed the match. I would love to see the match. I remember watching them on opposite sides of a tag team match a few years back and the two had great chemistry. Other than an injury to The Rock I wouldn?t count on seeing it this year. Next year however could be a different story.

Randy Orton - Orton isn?t a guy that appears to be on a collision course with the Dead Man but like Cena, he is another guy who has been a part of the discussion in recent years for an Undertaker match. I may be in the minority but I really liked the drama he and The Undertaker had at their previous WrestleMania match. I would be surprised if Orton isn?t a heel by Mania. What better way to get the turn rolling than by shooting him into a feud with The Undertaker on the biggest stage in pro wrestling?

Sting - Here we go again. Another year and another time to speculate over a Sting vs. Undertaker WrestleMania match, right? Sting hasn?t been on TNA television for awhile and his contract is still a bit of a mystery. Most suspect that he has re-signed for another year with TNA yet nothing official has hit the wires. I can?t imagine that there is much more time left to pull this one off if we are ever going to see it. There is a great demand for this match and the more it doesn?t happen, the more it seems fans want it. Of all the possible scenarios I think this would be the worst match inside of the ring but it could be quite a spectacle. I?d say of all matches here the chances of this one happening are slim, but Sting always has to be a part of this equation when we get closer to Mania time.

Why did they have to put her with Cena though?

the same reason that when Ryder got over with the fans they put Cena with him.

Someone getting popular = put them with Cena for a while to get him over with everyone over the age of 10.

Just turn the guy heel for fuck sake, his character is stale and has been for years.

--------------------

As for Undertaker and Wrestlemania

I kind of expect to see Undertaker vs CM Punk in a streak vs streak match. Punk's 500+ day title reign vs Taker's 20-0

At first I expected Punk to drop the title to The Rock at the rumble, but since The Rock is shooting another film between the Rumble and Wrestlemania I think that's less likely now and they'll want a champion who's still around.

WWE officials have offered Brock Lesnar a new contract. They want him locked in for another year before WrestleMania. It?s believed the new deal is similar to the deal he signed last year ? several million dollars, a few major pay-per-view events and the TV shows building up to those events.

Lesnar has not signed the deal and probably won?t sign any time soon because that?s how he operates, likely negotiating until the end. Some within WWE are under the impression that he?s in the creative plans for after WrestleMania 29.

Regarding a potential Lesnar vs. The Undertaker match, a source noted that Taker is really hurting bad and since Lesnar works a very physical style, officials are very leery of ever doing that match.

Well done to The Rock for winning the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. As a fan growing up, it's nice to see that The Rock still has it, and can still bring the same attitude to the table he had back in the 2000's.

Bret Hart spoke with Wrestle Talk TV Extra. Here are some of the things he had to say about Triple H.

?I have a certain amount of respect for Triple H. I remember when he first came in, I remember commenting on stuff that he did. Because I?d usually give wrestlers my thoughts and try to help them on stuff? Triple H has always been a good wrestler. But great? What is he now, a 1,000 time world champion? How great really is he?

?I look at [CM] Punk? I can look at certain wrestlers and I go, this guy is an innovator. Like a Rey Mysterio, who?s done stuff that no one has ever thought of before. Punk has done stuff ? really unique moves and you go, ?gee I?ve never seen anything like that before.? They innovate all the time, and they create new sequences and moves and things.

?Then you look at someone like Triple H. When I look at him ? he?s always had a good look as far as his body went ? he always had a pretty muscular physique. But you look at someone like Hunter and you wonder, what has he really done. One move that he ever created that nobody ever saw before or some highspots or an idea for a match? He?s mostly a guy that just showed up and they made him. He?s always been a decent wrestler ? I would consider him a good wrestler and pretty talented. But great? I don?t know, I don?t think so.

?What has he ever done that?s great? He?s never had a great match, I don?t think ever. Whenever I look at Triple H?s matches, including the last one he had with Undertaker ? and I don?t really mean it as a knock ? but I told myself before I watched it because I?m trying to like Paul now these days, that I want to see him do something to make me think he?s got greatness in him.

?Before Triple H wrestled Undertaker last year, I remember watching it and going, ?I can picture the whole match in my head, I can tell you exactly what this match is going to be like and how it?s going to go. And I remember watching it and it went exactly how I predicted it? I thought it was mediocre at best, maybe a 4 out of 10, or 3 out of 10.

?I think Paul is a little overrated? overrated for being great. I can sit here and tell you that there was one match that he ever had with anybody that I thought was great. It?s kind of a shame, he should have a great match somewhere with somebody. And you?d think that he would have had it by now, but I don?t think he?s a great wrestler.?

The Rock facing Cena at Wrestlemania was very predictable.   But atthesame time, probably Vince's best move.  But I don't get John Cena.  I think he is more for the children.
