The Rock facing Cena at Wrestlemania was very predictable.   But atthesame time, probably Vince's best move.  But I don't get John Cena.  I think he is more for the children.
The Rock vs Brock part 2 would have been far more exciting. Facing Cena again at WM, is kind of disappointing because you just know that they will probably give the match to Cena this time. But then again, that's one of the flaws of giving Rock the title, because he's going to have to lose at some point.

Regarding The Undertaker?s status, there is still nothing definite. If there has been a final decision made, it is being kept very quiet.

As noted, Taker was not backstage at Monday?s RAW from Nashville, even though he was photographed at a Nashville Predators hockey game the night before. However, Taker reportedly did have a meeting with Vince McMahon while in town.

It?s said that Taker does not want to come back and have to fake his way through a mediocre match, which is why his status is up in the air. He had major shoulder and hip surgery over the past year which made it impossible for him to do any serious training for a long time. Taker couldn?t lift upper body because of shoulder rehab and couldn?t do lower body because of the hip rehab.

As of a few days ago, the internal word was that Taker is still ?planned? to face CM Punk this year. People close to Taker believe that if he doesn?t do WrestleMania 29, then his career is not over and it would simply mean he didn?t have enough time to fully recover from everything. The expectation is that he would like to do WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and that the show could be built around his farewell since he will be 49 years old at that point.

Sting spoke about the possibility of jumping to WWE and wrestling The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 during a recenter interview with the VOC Nation Radio Network.

?It?s no secret. I?ve always wanted to wrestle Undertaker; I?ve said that for years. And who would not want to work WrestleMania??

Sting spoke to WWE two years ago about joining the company, but a deal never materialized:

?I do an annual contract every year and the rumors start right around January. The year that they did the (black and white) vignettes (in 2011), I had nothing to do with it and I had no conversations with the WWE at that time. Shortly afterward there were conversations (with WWE) just by happenstance but nothing official.?

Even though a move to WWE seems unlikely after all these years, he did say that it felt as if his TNA Hall of Fame induction last year was TNA?s way of ?putting me out to pasture,? despite Dixie Carter saying that is ?absolutely not? the case.

I haven't really watched wrestling in years, I have a wee look at the WWE and TNA shows every now and again, but it's not to my liking.

Do you guys read many wrestling autobiographies, or watch any shoot interviews. I find these interesting. A bunch of guys 'roided up, travelling together 250 days a year, makes for some interesting stories.

I heard recently that The Rock is legitimately pissed at the WWE for changing the outcome of the Wrestlemania match against Cena. Apparently it was planned for The Rock to win then to drop the title after at another PPV event. This might be the reason why the preparation for The Rock vs Brock Lesnar at WM30 is on hold or now might not happen at all...

WWE officials were wanting to do Steve Austin vs. Triple H with Austin backing Vince McMahon in a fight for control of the company for next year?s WrestleMania XXX main event. That idea was proposed in creative but had never been agreed to. Word now is that it?s off the books. No word yet on exactly why the idea was nixed but the idea of The Rock in Austin?s role has been talked about as well.

At one point, the idea for SummerSlam was that Vince, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H would unite but later in the year they would split again with Triple H going heel.

Not interested in seeing HHH against Austin.

Punk - Austin
HHH - Bryan
Orton - Cena
Brock - Taker

would be my choice of matches for Mania

I really wanted Rock VS Brock (part 2) to happen. I think it would be perfect for the big one Mania 30. Since their 2002 clash, they've both been successful outside of the WWE, and back then Brock was unstoppable. But I think it's time the WWE righted that wrong and make The Rock defeat him one on one. The Rock has yet to beat this guy, so that's always going to be there, so time for "the great one" to triumph.  Cool

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar is now on the books for WrestleMania XXX, provided that Taker feels healthy enough to work that kind of match. Lesnar was always going to work with either The Undertaker or The Rock.

A lot of fans are upset Batista won the Royal Rumble.   I wish Daniel Bryan would have won.  I think he is a great role model and an excellent wrestler.

CM Punk would appear to have walked away from WWE while Sting is apparently extremely close to signing with the company.

Right? It is completely dead. But I don't think as many come on the board anymore. I know I stop by every once in awhile but not all that much.

I'm always excited for Wrestlemania even with this year's card not looking all that great. Rumble is my favorite ppv and the lead up to Wrestlemania and the event itself is always at least semi-entertaining. I am sick of a lot of guys though like Cena and HHH and wish Punk was here but I'll still watch and hope its good.

Stone Cold has been confirmed to appear and Hogan is there so hopefully whatever they do with them is at least an entertaining segment or two. I hope for some good matches with Bryan and maybe with Shield/Kane and Bray/Cena. I figure the title match ends up a fatal four-way somehow. Some type of cheap finish to the Bryan/HHH match and Hogan or someone coming out to put Bryan in the title match. Thinking its also plausable CM Punk comes back in some capacity tomorrow or at the post-wrestlemania Raw. They haven't buried him or anything, they have chosen to just not mention him at all so I figure he'll come back eventually.

Suck.
