i have transfered a lot of my GNR vhs to high quality Mpeg files but i dont know what program i need to split them into chapters without causing a split second jump can anyone guide me as its annoying having 1hr long chapters  Huh

If you are new to this, you should try TMPGENc DVD Author. Its an easy program and you can do a lot of stuff with it.

well at the moment im using sonic because its easy to use the vhs transfers are from Fly Tv platinum i think i need to be spending some more money as i want them in dolby digital too

TMPGEnc DVD author has a trial version. It can encode LPCM, Dolby and MPEG audio.
