Thing is to get in this, I have to send a press kit to the person in charge and then hope I am picked.

Thing is, I have no fuckin idea what the hell a press kit consists of

SO can someone please hook me up with some info so I can try to capialize on this opportunity

Dude, my friend's dad did one of those and it was GREAT for him.  (at least, in Germany, where he had the number one country single for a couple months and had Dolly Parton sing on the album with him)

I am at home right now, but tomorrow when I see him, I'll ask him all I can about it and let you know.

Press kits mainly consist of a short bio (1 or 2 pages) and professional pictures, basically what a record company would need to know you better.
Of course, famous bands have more sophisticated press kits, with press articles and the like, but at your stage I guess the bio and a few pictures will do  Wink

Hopefully loretian will be able to provide you with more details.

Silly me, I forgot the recordings of course. Including a demo would be good if you have one.
