Axl pops up in January out of nowhere at a party thrown by Korn and gives an interview to Rolling Stone, stating that people will hear music this year

Then there are some "untitled" GnR songs being mastered, although it's later revealed that it's supposedly it's old material getting remastered

Slash says he's heard from an inside source that Chinese Democracy is supposed to be out in March.  Interesting considering Slash has always maintained he knows nothing about the project or when it will be released

Axl reportedly bribes the owners of an NYC night club to let him and his crew party there after hours by offering to play Chinese Democracy for them

Several days later we have some quality clips of previously unheard material, this after hearing only one very low quality clip of unreleased material in all the years of recording that's gone on

Interesting series of events.  I'm not saying that it necessarily means anything in particular, but there's a lot of strange stuff going on right now  ok

Indeed, something's felt wierd ever since the first leaks on Wednesday - And the timing of Axl's re-emergence and Slash's interviews was almost too convenient.

Conspiracy theorists should have a field day with this one.  ok
