Damn good effort there, but I just adjusted that part slightly lol. Once again, damn fine stuff. Damn fine song. All about Slash if you ask me.

No its not. Its When you plead and if that be the end of time its true. Listen to one of the live versions.
Plus I heard the other version over razz radio and its clearly when you plead and if that be the end of time its true.

All i know is that IRS kicks much more ass with that new solo from the live performance.  To me the song was very boring and sustained this boringness too long, but the new solo breaks it up and I really dig it.

this song was my favourite before, but after listening to dankrass recording it has grwon on me even further beer

the new solo and intro kick ass. and the beginning in general sounds .... different  and different drumming.

In regards to that lyric about "when you plead"

I was like, literally, about 5 feet away from Axl when he sang it - I read the dude's lips.  "So when you plead the fifth and in the end the charge is true" - In addition, the lyric you're filling in there doesn't even make much sense, contextually.

Not trying to argue or anything - just sharing my observations.

Slight modification.  It could also be "so when you plead the fifth, babe, and in the end the charge is true.  (or possibly 'charges true' could fit there as well)

The thing is, the word 'babe' does sound like its in there - but the way that line is sung is just.. weird.  Love the f'n song, though.
