Someone emailed Merck about this, but there's some misunderstanding.

The question: Will GNR play Rock IM Ring

He replied: Not Rock IM Ring.

So, does he mean that they will play Rock AM Ring and he's just messing with a typo? Wasn't clear.

There's Rock AM Ring and Rock IM Park. Two different shows.

Update - I read a translation and apparently the dates of the festival were moved to fit into GNR's schedule!

Yeah I already posted something like this a few days ago, It's not about the waldrock festival, It roughly says that waldrock has been pushed back, because guns are gonna play the Arrowrock festival...I wouldn't count on guns playing at arrock but hey a man can dream  Grin

NOTE  - I just noticed the Waldrock Festival mention now. The title of the article led me to believe it was Rock Am Ring.

Not to put anyone down: this is still a rumour!

As is Arrow Rock (Holland) (8-10/06): rumour has it they added an extra date just for GN'R??
As is Graspop (Belgium) (23-25/06): rumour has it Metallica is coming (some sites even confirm this already), does this mean GN'R is coming too??

They are more likely to do The arrow classic rock festival than waldrock.
I've got a little bit of inside info, The extra date that was added to Arrow rock is either for guns, or for roger waters. I got it from my cousin he knows a lot about the dutch music bizz 'cause he's a producer and he works for Aardschock magazine.

that whole article is implying that guns won't play on a festival in the Netherlands....but will play in Nijmegen - Holland.... kinda like the date they booked in Ireland....just a Guns gig...... the waldrock festival is rescedualed to 1 juli cause guns might play at 17 juni in Nijmegen.....

I think the article is implying something along the lines of that
