i know there was once talk of him having the skulls of the appetite tattoo blackened, but i was wondering does anyone know if axl has had any of his tattoos recoloured, because they are looking great in colour and shape!!im thinking of having the AFD cross tattooed? hihi

I don't if he had any recolored...we know he has new ones..there is one on his leg but I have yet to see a close up of that pic.   

As far as I can see on the boots from 2002 and pic he hasn't had the cross blackened, it's fuzzy now and fade most likely, that is a pretty old tat.

massive respect for you getting the cross tatt.  My tatts aren't very big - but am planning on expanding them and something GnR-esque would be great.

That '92 interview Axl did with Rolling Stone had some awesome black and white pics of his tatts - the rose one above the girl on his right arm - looks so cool close up.

God I love tattoes.   hope he doesnt black out the AFD cross - it would be a shame as for what it stands for.

I have seen this tattoo on television up close and the faces are not covered up.

ive got the scroll from the top of the album on my back, i want to get the rest but i really don't liek colour tatoos so not sure if i can make it look good in black, the scroll "guns n roses" looks brilliant im so happy with it ill post pics as soon as i have one to post its only 2 weeks old

Isn't the girl on Slash's shoulder Shirley, his alter ego or something?

And I've heard that Michelle was a good friend to the band (even in Hollywood Rose), and that she and Axl went out for a while, but then they were just friends. First he wrote a sweet song about her, but then he realized that it wasn't true, so he wrote the "real deal".... but I don't know...

He did have a girlfriend named Gina Siler that he moved to LA with in 1982 and was with her for 3 years but in this article there is no mention if this girl went out with Izzy first.? ?In the making of Don't Cry Axl explains about the girl on his arm being with Izzy first and the inspiration of the song.? ?But who know's if it's this chick.

The linked article is a people article that was printed in 1994.? ?It's an interesting article if you never read it before however it's pretty slanted towards Axl.? As he didn't comment at all.
